Pickit4 is fast and reliable
I have used the pickit2 for previous products but new products need a new way of programming them. The pickit4 programs quite a variety of newer products reliably and quickly. I like the Pic chips and their programmer. I wish the pickit2 supported the newer chips but it does not.

Love this unit for programming PICs
This unit, along with the MPLAB software, makes it very easy and convenient to program PICs. At this price point and the low cost parts available on Amazon, it's great time to be an engineer/hobbyist...only limit is your creativity.
