Balanced Introduction to Computer Science, A

I had to buy this book for class, and I've been trudging through the exercises for the last month. Reed does a good job of explaining things and starting with basics and then building on them. I don't ever stress about the exercises, because in general they are rather easy, though they do consistently take longer than I expect them to take. Good for learning HTML & Javascript basics.

A basic understanding of computer science that will get you thinking about all that it involves. I have browsed through it so far.

I used this book for class all the time! Its amazing!

Front cover is basically held together with tape. Really terribly quality. Buy elsewhere if you can!!!!

The book took a lot of time to come in, about two weeks, but it was almost new when it did come in, for a used book. I am a happy camper.

It is perfect for the way the instructor is teaching the class. He uses all the extras that are included.

ok, had major damage but it wasnt that good for the price. Still had all pages, i hope so lol
