Scales for the guitar
For me, it came in handy at times I mean there’s a lot of scales and it’s not a book that you’re gonna have there all the time but when it does it will sure do the job. Oh, one more thing it is hard to keep a page open while trying to play, but there are things you can use for that anyway, have fun.

Great books, with one problem.
Guitar Head's books are great. Easy to follow and learn from. The only thing that would make them better is if the publisher put the titles on the spines of their books. It would be so much easier to find the book you're looking for when they're on the shelf if the spines weren't all the same blank, red.

Excellent info
I've been having trouble learning Music Theory and Scales. This book has really helped me understand how these two things come together! I would consider myself an amateur player and trying to figure out the Blues as well.

Large font, wide line spacing so there's not as much as you'd think, author's ego by the bucket load
The book has 111 (?) pages, but the print size is large and the line spacing quite wide. With normal font and line spacing you could get the contents onto maybe 50 pages. The diagrams, half of them at least, look like they were drawn by a kid with a crayon. The author's over-sized ego comes through in bucket loads in the text.

Practice
As my guitar teacher said. Practice, then practice some more. When you think you have practiced enough, practice once more ;)

Fun!
A very nice balance between theory and practice, fun to read. Will surely buy more books from the same author

I would buy it again
I learned some very basic things I had forgotten. The only problem I have is that on my ereader the tabs are so small that they are hard to read. I can, but it is hard.

Excellent buy!
As with all of the other "Guitar Head" books, this one is very well written, and easy to follow even for anyone whom doesn't know anything about music. No regrets here!

Well Explained
A really useful book for beginnersBy the time I had finished, I was playing a classical guitar reasonably well. I used in combination with other books from the range....scales & fret board.
