I have the western edition and now the eastern. It is very well done, easy to use and informative.

We are spending time in Maine this winter and are seeing tracks in the snow everywhere, so I got this little guide to help us figure out what we are seeing. It is a wonderful book! It explains very simply what to look for, and gives sketches of the tracks of both mammals and birds, and even a few reptiles and amphibians. It is great fun to try and identify some of the more exotic neighborhood friends.

We are in MA. I was looking for info on bobcats. This book has it most do not.

I use this for my animal tracks class and it is a handy guide!

Covers most of the NE game!
