Summary: This is a stator for the 04-07 Honda CBR1000RR. This is a mid-range cost offering at $71. Yes, my motorcycle is a daily driver, with 90,000 miles. The last stator lasted just over a year, and the one before was a few years (so that last one was a lemon).Observations: the black protective covering over the yellow wires needed to be adjusted slightly. I looked through a dozen or so offerings, and I selected the DB Electrical based on reviews for motorcycle stator offerings. The fact that DB also makes lots of other electronic components such as regulator/rectifiers, gave me higher confidence that this stator may last more than a year.Recommendation: Most of these have a 1-year warranty, so I will be pulling it off at six months to see how the windings are holding up. The primary failure mode is overheating, which leads to insulation breakdown, and ultimately shorting to ground.Pros: Decent fit & finish; mid-range price point; decent reviews on similar stator offerings.Cons: Low rating/reviews for this specific model.Conclusion: At $71, rating this 4-stars for now; will update the review in six months.

Called and talked to a few different manufacturers, and they were telling me theres not much improvement that justifies any price increase in different competitors prices.Works as directed, fits perfect.
