Gangbusters in Space
When I took the box from the mailer, I found myself grinning like an idiot. Talk about a rush of nostalgia! When Chester Gould sent Tracy & company into space, I remember a hue and cry from crime purists, but, as a young crime and science fiction fan, I thought it was great. This model of the Space Coupe is not complicated, but it is still a very satisfying build, and the lunar base and figures make it a great basis for a diorama.Edit to Add: The model is great, the base and figures as well; the decals, not so much. As soon as they were immersed in water, the decals began to crack, then fragment. In the end, they were unusable. It is especially disappointing since, without the decals, the model becomes merely a yellow tube. Still, despite all that, I am only reducing my rating by one star because it is yet a fun build and creates a nice diorama.

Nice simple model
Product as described. A nice model. Mounded in off-white color and ready to paint and glue. Has a nice base/stand that is a moonscape with 4 small figures. Simple model to build. Good for a beginner

Just as I remember!
I built this as a young man and now that I am retired it is going to be a fun build. While not the most challenging build it is going to be a very nice trip down memory lane.
