Pleasantly surprised
I bought a pair of these in white for about $650 and couldn't be happier. I've forgone the center channel as the center image is so good that the dialog on movies sounds like it's coming directly from the center of the screen for my whole couch even though the bottom of the TV is a few inches higher than the tweeter. Paired with an Onkyo receiver, klipsch in-ceilings and a deftech supercube for a 4.1.2 we're really enjoying it for movies. They don't even need the sub for most 2 channel listening as long as I turn the crossover off for full range. For movies I keep the crossover at 40 hz and they perform quite well. I actually don't find these particularly bright. I even had to turn the the crossovers down between 4k-15k a db or 2 on my klipsch surrounds to keep their sibilance from taking away from the warmer sound of the Jamo's. My only real complaint with them is that they don't really wake up and get really dynamic until around 75-80 db and that's sometimes louder than I want to listen. As for the look, these were one of the few floorstanders that my wife was happy to have in our living room so that's a win for a guy who thought floorstanding speakers would never be wife approved. She didn't even mind when I said they really needed to be pulled out 20 inches from the wall and toed in rather than shoved back so their baffles are on the same plane as our entertainment cabinet. Overall, I would definitely recommend the c97ii's to anyone looking for a budget floorstander.

Use, broken, not working and missing face Grill and metal feet.
I own a pair which I purchase through Amazon. The speakers that were sent to me where used, damaged and lacking parts. Very, very disappointed with Amazon. Will not purchase this type item again from you.

Impressed
I wanted a new set of speakers for our family room. I looked around, found several speakers I liked, and a friend recommended I look at Jamo. Never considered them before, took a look, and my wife immediately liked the look of them. They are a Danish company, been around for a long time, but based on their price, I wasn't expecting much but felt it was worth the risk to try them out. When I opened them, they feel like expensive speakers - nice and heavy, well built. They look terrific, and appear to use good components (good connectors, good floor isolation feet, etc). Turned them on and immediately was impressed - they are good sounding speakers. Nice and clear, excellent imaging. I admit, I am impressed... worth every penny and more. I was impressed enough I turned around and bought the matching center channel (also impressed). Great sounding speaker - awesome value - fantastic looks. Great combination.

Fantastic sounding speaker in the world's worst packaging
Received two damaged speakers, then received two damaged replacements. Spent hours of my life speaking with Amazon customer service. They sound great but I'm not spending this kind of money on something damaged out of the box 100% of the time.

The product description is a wrong
The product description says "sold in pairs". Which is a lie, you are buying only one.

Best deal on the planet!!
First let me say that I did not buy these from Amazon or an audio store. I found these for $249.00 each brand new on Woot.com which is owned by amazon. I was looking for a set of speakers for my newer bedroom system at these worked great sitting on top of two SVS 2000 subwoofers with two crown XLS 1002 power amps in mono with a Harman Kardon preamp. The imaging is fabulous on these things so a center channel is really not needed and they look absolutely fabulous. I used to own seven audio stores back in the '70s and have been an audiophile for 50 years owning many many pairs of speakers that cost thousands and thousands of dollars with tons of different power amps and preamps. My main listening system in the living room is a Citation 16a Poweramp, Citation 17s preamp and of Dahlquist DQ10's with an SVS 4000 subwoofer and a system in each bedroom in the house. These speakers were a no-brainer at the price and couldn't be happier and in white they look fabulous on top of the two black subwoofers I use for the stands. Still a deal on Amazon at 349.00 but Woot.com got them here in 5 days totally unharmed and at a great price.Don't let these other negative reviews to throw you off. Of course they are sold as each. I own 2 pair and the packing was great. It had to be the shipper that messed up the other reviewer and he blamed it on the speaker manufacturer.

This speaker is a Gem!!! People dont understand what they are missing!
You guys have no idea what a gem this is!! You will NOT find a better sounding speaker at twice the price. I'm speaking from experience. I have been to many high fi shops in my area and I have sampled so many different speakers to include a $60k pair of Spenders. This speaker sounds AMAZING. I have the c607 which is a much older pair of the same family. These are an improvement on those. The only speakers I have found that I would really consider a true upgrade are over $2k. I've heard a few models of Elac but I actually like these better in almost every aspect. They are power hungry though. They sound best when pushed. They do not pair will with class D amps. I haven't found 1 class D that sounds good with these.
