This emblem finished the tailgate of my truck nicely. I have an '07 Ram 1500, and it looks great. The only thing is that the back of it has a plastic tab that sticks out. This platic tab is probably used with assembly in the factory. If you have any other year truck, just get a good blad and pliers and you can break it off and make smooth (that way the back is completely flat). I would also suggest adding a couple strips of 3M double sided tape to increase the coverage on the back for application. It looks great and I am 100% pleased with my purchase!!

i drive a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi and my regular emblem made it seem basic but now with this new one my truck really sticks out and looks wayyy better . i thought i would need a heat gun and adhesive remover but as long as u remove the old one slowly and correctly youll be fine and the new one had to screws coming out . probaly for the newer trucks but just get a wrench or a blade, make sure its flat then clean the area where you are puttin the new emblem and wala! its on . the tape it comes with is pretty strong and firm .

Looks great. There are 2 plastic pins on the back that I had to remove with a coping saw blade. I guess the '09 & '10 have drilled holes in the tailgate to accept this emblem. If you don't have the holes, and don't want to drill any, take your time, and mark out location so it's straight. Emblem comes with 3M tape on entire back, so once placed it's not going anywhere.

I see the new 2015 dodge ram embelms are much bigger I thought it would be like them. It is smaller.

Stupid I got a 2" one not the 8" one

This Badge Decal is the crowning jewel on my 1998 1500 Dodge Ram truck. The size makes a bold statement on the tailgate. The installation was a breeze. The badge has two posts on the back surrounded by automotive adhesive tape. I elected to drill the hole for the pegs because I wanted a little more piece of mind, but the tape would have stuck on its own. In fact it stuck so well when testing the adhesion, the truck moved before the decal would budge. The shipper packaged and shipped it very quickly, had it in a few days. Well worth it to put the icing on the cake.

Sent back not right size

Sweet! I popped it on the truck tailgate with no problem and smile every time I see it. Great item and I am very happy I bought it. As a side note for FYI, I have a Silver 2004 Ram 1500 SLT and it looks terrific.
