Honestly these brushes were great quality especially for the price. They do their job. Super soft

I feel like most quality brushes these days are either 1. extremely expensive or 2. dropping in quality and matching these; I say that after spending about $20 for one brush from Bare Essentials who's brushes I have used for the last 10 years and have been amazing and held up to lots of moderate-heavy use. When I replaced my original "blending brush" with a similar style blending brush it was horrible quality compared to the one that sat overused next to it. So for that reason some people may enjoy these at a fraction of the cost of higher priced brands which clearly are starting to outsource and drop in quality.PROS:I loved the larger brushes. The medium to smaller ones I did not like and gave away.The customer service was crappy till a manager or someone higher up on the food chain in the company reached out which at least seemed to care that I was not happy about my product and offered me a refund.CONS:Medium and smaller brushes were tough to use - too stiff and rigid.Initial customer service was not helpful at all and mocked me while agreeing that they do not compare to higher grade brushes and acted as if I should have been happy to receive them.Bad smell from the case - it went away after about 4 days but I can still smell it here and there so I have removed all the brushes I want or intend to use and they now occupy half of my makeup station which is kind of annoying.Bottom Line: I am listing a 4 star review for a few reasons mostly for the obvious fact that I just spent $20 on one brush and it is going back to Sephora tomorrow cause it is garbage and I do not want to waste my money from B.E. which I did so having done that I realize unless I am going to spend $100+ on two or three brushes, I am likely to end up with a set similar to these for much more money.Another reason is the improved customer care.Finally I liked the larger brushes a lot and they feel comparable to my older brushes from B.E. I think actually another set of brushes I do enjoy which are less costly are ones from Forever21. Those have lasted and gotten softer in time which is always nice. Who wants a stiff brush against their soft skin?! Ew.

I purchased this make-up brush set as a Christmas gift for my adult daughter. Since she hasn't been given the set yet, I cannot comment on the quality of the brushes yet, only on my impression of them when I opened the box to check them out.The set arrived in 2 days, nicely gift boxed. The brushes are well organized, each in their own sleeve in a roll up case. the brushes seem very nice upon inspection; soft, supple, off white at the tips, dark brown at the base. I can't be sure of the quality until my daughter actually uses them & let's me know. At this point I can only say they seem to be of good quality. If they are of excellent quality, I will update this review & add a star.Right now I've deducted 2 stars because of the horrible smell of the roll up case. OMG! The awful cheap plastic, burnt rubber smell is horrendous.How can a company ruin what might be a lovely set of brushes by permeating the bristles with the horrible plastic odor? Very bad & I do not have a very good sense of smell. if it offends me, it'll definitely offend someone with a sensitive nose. Such a shame because the case is actually attractive & seems pretty well made. The choice of material used is the problem.Uspicy, I highly recommend changing the material you use for the case. Even if it adds a couple dollars to your final selling price, because the awful plastic you're using now totally ruins the entire set. I would hang the case outside to air out (won't do it inside my house because it reeks), but it's winter & very cold here so that won't help. Perhaps hanging it in my garage will help dissipate the odor. If so, I'll update this review. UPDATE: The seller contacted me right after I posted my review to help resolve my issue with this product. I must say I'm very impressed with their rapid response & desire to keep their customers happy! Shows excellent customer service! Will update again when problem resolved.

My teenage grand daughter was very happy with her gift!

First off, I felt WAY more professional and competent with makeup as I was rolling out these brushes. They come in a decent sized box containing a nice pouch. One of the biggest reasons I'm giving it five stars is the numerous crease and flat eye brushes. I am going to a wedding in two weeks and there are a few of us that have to do our makeup together, and this will make it so much easier (I always seem to be on the hunt for crease brushes). They're nice and soft, and when I ran them over my scratchy cleaning pad I didn't lose and fibers. The brushes I used (for foundation, light contour, eyes) and then washed held their shape nicely. Hello Amazon lurkers who are reading the reviews.I have revieved this amazing Makeup brush set today and first and foremost I fell in love instantly! The packaging was great, the USpicy box it came in made the brush set look very professional and eye catching. I love whdn things come in great packaging, now it comes in a black alligator like pouch, very beautiful and unique I must say. Now, pulling the brushes out they are very soft but yet a great thickness that I believe will work with makeup real well, the brushes feel real sturdy and I love how the stick of the brush feels like it will be an easy monouver for your hands, they haven't had any bristles fall out even after washing (remember to always wash before use) it although does have a strong painty smell once you open, but it does go away after you air it out. I have yet to try it out until tomorrow at least (yay!) but it seems like it will do the job. I will be making a YouTube review on these tomorrow and testing the makeup to have a better lighting on what I am dealing with. I will update after once is all tested and add pictures on how well it works. But, honestly just by opening these and feeling the texture on the brushes I highly suggest purchasing. The price is a great bargain deal.

i liked this brush are smooth but i would wish foundation brush would have been little better and missed the contouring brush otherwise good stuff
