Memory Foam Pillow Standard Size, Breathable Cooling Shredded Memory Foam Bed Pillow with Zipper Removable and Washable Derived Rayon Cover White

Upon arrival, the pillow was well packaged. I just had to unzip the package and slide it out, roll it out, and then remove the plastic. I gave it a couple of minutes of air, and then I just pulled it apart throughout the middle, and then around the seams. Then, I let it sit for a few hours. It puffed up perfectly and there weren't any lumps. I then removed the outer bamboo cover and slipped a waterproof cover over the inner pillow covering. I replaced the outer cover and put a pillowcase on it, as is. I didn't remove any of the filling. Nor, did I notice any smelly off-gassing from the pillow. I always sleep on my side, so this review is tailored to others who do. I figured that I'd give it a shot with it's original fill level on the 1st night and see how it goes. I get a crick in my neck fairly easily so I was a little nervous about it. I was very surprised to wake up today with no pain, or stiffness! I will say that yes, it's memory foam and yes, I did sink in it more than a non memory foam pillow. But, I did not sink too far into it for it not to lend the ideal neck support for us side sleepers. It was nice for me not to be awakened by having to adjust my normal 2 flattened old non MF pillows for a change. It is a heavy pillow, so I don't reccomend letting the kids pillow fight with it. And, I have no idea how well this pillow's foam will hold up over time. The inner and outer zippered covers seem made well. But, I gotta say. I'm glad that I purchased this pillow. It was a very comfortable 1st night's sleep on it.

This is a heavy-duty, in fact heavy pillow for those who want some real support. Worth it!

Very comfortable pillow. Supportive and cooling too. Be prepared to have it someplace airing out for a few weeks when first decompressed. It has a strong earthy bamboo (not chemical) smell that gradually disapates with time. I airef mine out in hot sunlight in my sunroom for 3 weeks.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this pillow but I have to say I am very impressed. I have been sleeping on down feather pillows for decades & decided to try this. As soon as it arrived in a vacuum sealed bag, instead of waiting for it to puff up & put it in my dryer with a couple of wool dryer balls & set it on the sanitize setting to make sure I was killing any possible bacteria/germs & let it run for about 30 min. Some other similar pillows & reviews state their memory foam pillows are flat & thin... Well not this one! Maybe because I put it in the dryer with the dryer balls to fluff it up.. but I can assure you it was fluffed up! Last night was my first night sleeping with it & I might take some of the filling out for my preference, but I can't say I had a bad nights sleep. The pillow was very supportive & on the firm side (for me) but again I am used to a down/feather pillow. I have to say I was impressed with this pillow & will probably buy more. I highly recommend it!

I bought the pillow because the description said both the pillow and cover were washable. When I received it, the tag showed only the cover was washable.I am hoping the seller will make the correction regarding the pillow itself: is it, or is it NOT washable? (See edit) I will try it out and see how well I like it even though I can’t wash it. There is a no-questions asked guarantee, so if anything I can send it back.*Edit*. The company emailed me, confirmed that only the pillow cover is washable, and will work on making that correction in the description. Their customer service rep was very apologetic, thorough and kind.And as it turns out, I actually really like the pillow and changed my rating to 5 stars because even without being able to wash the pillow, it’s very comfortable and supportive, and the value is excellent! The company was very responsive to my question too, which is what good companies should do...and they did! The cover is really soft and I’m glad I can wash that, because it feels so good against my skin. The firmness is perfect for me, but as others have said, you can take some of the stuffing out to make it softer if you need to.

I did a lot of research and thought this pillow would be the best. I'm a side sleeper and wanted something that was not too firm, not too soft, and would provide enough support on my neck and head. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. I've been waking up with headaches and neck aches.I like that it comes with a cover that is very soft and easy to remove (via zipper) and wash. I also like that the actual memory foam fillings can be removed to your liking. I still have yet to remove some of the filling and test it out, but I'm skeptical that will solve my problem. Upon sleeping on it, the pillow flattens quite a bit, providing little support despite how firm it becomes. If I were to remove some of the filling, it'd probably worsen the above scenario.I've tried tossing it in the dryer on low heat to fluff it up, as well as simply fluffing it manually right before going to bed, but the pillow still flattens out too much to the point where my head is sinking into it.I can't say that it has any noticeable cooling properties. Due to the memory foam filling, it still gets hot. It's not too bad for me to handle, but for those who run very hot while sleeping, this may not be for you.I will try removing the filling and testing it out a few more times. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update my review.

I've had a shredded memory foam pillow for years and it was great but finally time to get a new one. I have horrible neck problems that can lead to migraines as well as inflammation that can make it hard to sleep. Shredded memory foam is so fantastic in that I can manipulate it to how my body needs it that night. Anyway, the price for this one was good, better than in-store. At first there is a smell. I had to set it aside for the first night but it does air out. That's pretty typical for memory foam though. Fluffed right up, no problems. The exterior is somehow both silky and cottony. I LOVE it.

I love these pillows, if they are too full, you can unzip them and pull stuffing out. Super comfy pillows.

It hurted my shoulder and neck, it has a very awkward height and its thickness does not allow a good rest. It is like if that kept your head against your chest. I am 5'6 and I thought it was because of my height so I gave it to a 6,3 person and he had the same comments. I have books that are thicker than this pillow. Whoever gave it more than a 1 star... I shake my head at thee. I bought it partially because the reviews were relatively good, and because I desperately needed a pillow, but will be returning. It is lumpy, and the pieces are not uniform. Zero support. Better off sleeping on a bunched up sweatshirt.

Unfortunately, after 72 hours or letting the foam "fluff up", the maximum height it grew to was 1 1/2 inches. I see some reviews that were glowing and positive which is the reason I purchased it. The reseller better get in touch with the manufacturer. Definitely not as advertised in our case.
