Works just as well as expensive brands
This was a great purchase. So far it's been excellent at tracking my steps and keeping track of my heartrate. I was most interested in tracking my sleep and this does a wonderful job. It was frustrating to set up at first, but I downloaded a bar code scanner app and scanned the QR bar code from the setup book and it binded magically to my phone after a few seconds. It sync's great from the watch to the app. I don't know why anyone is paying $100s of dollars for brand name items when this works just as good, if not better, than my fitbit did. Its an added bonus to get my text notifications as well.

I want to love it, but I don't.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I want to preface this review with: maybe I just haven't figured everything out yet. However, I've had this app for a long time (with another fitness tracker) and I'm pretty savvy at figuring out new technology.Pros:-Looks better and less inconspicuous than I anticipated.-Interface is nice. Display is clear. Menus are easy to figure out and navigate.-Buttons don't get in my way like I thought they might.-Seems accurate to steps-Everything works as I'd expect... as in nothing on the menu has me like, "huh? What do I do? What is this?"-It has a 'flashlight' and a Call My Phone! Cool!-It has a higher water resistance level (5ATM)Cons (actually if anyone could help me with these, I'd appreciate it):-The VeryFitPro app does NOT keep your data after you unbind one watch and then bind another. So if you're hoping to upgrade your watch and keep your data, be ready to be disappointed. I was extremely disappointed.-I cannot get the heart monitor to work properly/automatically. I have "automatic" selected within the heart rate setting in the app. However, when I go to the heart rate menu, it will not start detecting my heart rate unless I manually go to the heart rate menu on my watch. Once my watch starts measuring, my app finally has a number show up. The app has "record" of my heart rate. When I see the current day, it seems to have tracked my heart rate because it has a line graph with spikes. But when I look at the week, every day has the same average heart rate. Additionally, for the hours when I'm sleeping, the heart rate doesn't seem to be any different than when I'm awake.-Sleep has yet to be tracked. I'm assuming this is because the heart rate isn't being automatically monitored and sent to the app. This annoys me because sleep tracking is one main reason I have fitness watches. My last Letscom watch ($23) tracked heart rate and sleep without any issues, so it's frustrating that my more expensive choice is having issues. If I can't figure out how to properly track heart rate and sleep, I'm returning the watch and going back to the little tracker I used to have.-If I'm scrolling through and deleting messages from my watch's cache, it freezes up. I can consecutively delete about 5 and then the watch freezes. I'm unable to go back or even lock the screen. But in about 10 seconds, the watch restarts, displays the welcoming "hello" screen, and then it's fine. When this happens, all the texts are gone from the menu in my watch.-YOU CANNOT WAKE UP THE WATCH BY ANY TAPPING MOTIONS. I don't like this. Yes, the motion of bringing your wrist toward your face wakes it up fine. But if it doesn't work, or you're just wanting to check time conspicuously while you're in a meeting or something, you HAVE TO press one of the two side buttons to view the display. I highly believe there should be a double tap motion that wakes up the screen.Lots of little functionality things that (summatively) are make this cool-looking, easily-navigatable watch disappointing

Battery life is great
UPDATE: changing my 4/5 star to 2 b/c this watch drops BT on a daily basis and its getting annoying. I pair my phone and then everything is great but then by the next day, issues again. I would be less bothered if i would have bought the $13 version of this watch. I got 2 other ones that work with the same app and are probably the same maker but sell under a different name. They are cheap watches and if you are just looking to track your steps and wear it in a pool/shower then this is great, but if you want it to do the things it lists it does, i would go with a name brand smartwatch.I purchased this during a sale. Not a bad device. I have had and tried many of the top brands , mostly because they were given to me, and I like this the nost.. 3 big reason are the cost, battery life and the color screen. I have not confirmed how water proof it is, I take it off to shower. This is a pretty basic fitness band. I do get my text messages, emails, and calendar notices on my watch. There are 3 options for screen display. I wish they had more but the one I picked shows the day, date, time, miles walked, steps all on home screen. A twist of the wrist wakes up your watch display. This worked great when I first got it but has not been 100% lately. If you swipe down, there is individual screen displays for steps, distance, calories burned, and a week total of each of the above. If I swipe right, I can check my heart rate, select sports, hit relax, and alarm. Sometimes I sleep through the alarm. It's so-so.I have not tried the music button. There are other features as well that I don't usually use.I have not used the app much. I would give the app a 2-3 star for it constantly running. I am not sure if it's something I am doing or not doing bit it's constantly on so my phone is constantly on battery saver.I wish I didn't have to twist my wrist or push a button to see the time, but all and all it works for me for now.

Decent tracker for the price
I have a higher-end fitness tracker that is in the shop for a battery replacement. (No rechargeable battery lasts forever.) But I am so used to having one, that I got this for a backup. I will not compare it to something that cost much more, but I will evaluate it for what it is.The face is easy to read in any light conditions. You have a choice of a few different faces- all digital styles. The touch screen is easy enough to use, as is the app. I had a little difficulty syncing it to my phone, but maybe that was my error. It does what I need it to do; keep track of steps, remind me to move if I have been sitting around and track my workouts (on my stationary bike.). There are quite a few choices of exercises to track, some of which work with the watch’s GPS. Battery life is about 4 days between changes.I had some questions and was able to get good customer service. In calling them, I learned that you can swim and shower with this on.I find 2 weak points; 1) The watch face stays on for a few seconds and then shuts down to conserve power. But there is no way to adjust the display time. 2)Because it turns on in response to movements of your arm, it is a problem to wear when you sleep. In light sleep, the sudden appearance of a light source wakes me up.So ir’s not bad for the money, but there are a couple of ways it could be better.
