Works as expected. The instructions are translated from Chinese and read as such. Be aware that the end flush translation being used is a best approximation to the Chinese word. When reading the instruction think of synonyms to better fit the words. Such as the use of close and open, these are in reference to off and on as turning the switch open / close, it means on and off. It took me a few reads to understand the steps, but otherwise great product.

The install was very simple and I installed the sensor up on the dash in the center of the dash where my other cars had them factory installed. The first couple times I didn’t think the “Auto” worked because it was definitely dark enough the lights should be on but they didn’t turn on. Finally I was driving a good distance when it was getting dark and I just waited to see what happened, about 30 min or so after My factory installed units lights would turn on this one the dash lights turned on and park lights, but the headlights took another 5 min to turn on. This was all on auto without me touching anything. However, if it is on auto and I go to start the car when it is getting darker, I feel it does a little better job at judging and turning on the headlights and everything. I like having the “auto” feature in this car, but I wish it was adjustable sensitivity or there was a way to make it come on sooner.

Dash backlights in my daughters ‘16 Jetta are all red. When I hooked this switch up, the lights are green. Did not complete the install, though it looked as though it would fit fine

Headlights wouldn't come on completely. Only parking lights unless I manually put them on. Easy install. Direction were horrible, Chinese translated into English very poorly. Didn't make any sense. Sent it back.

The part does not fit my car

The plug on this unit doesn't match the plug on the MK6 Jetta.

Works as described. Happy with purchase. Sensor placement will affect optimal operation. I tucked it behind the a-frame pillar area of the dash. If the sensor is positioned out to far out in the middle of the dash it wouldnt switch lights on in the late-dusk when your lights should come on.

First, the quality is very bad, the printings on the switch looks like they were made by hands. It does not click in place like it should so you can just pull the switch and the whole assembly pops out. Requested return
