HyperPixel 4.0 - Hi-Res Display for Raspberry Pi (Non-Touch)
C**.
Product is falsly advertised
This is not a normal screen, its natively a Portrait screen meaning the resolution is really 480x800 NOT 800x480While the screen can be rotated via terminal it resets if the raspberry pi is rebooted and there is no acceptable solution to permanently rotate the screen without breaking touch functionality.Very disappointed in the product and not as expected. the description resolution is incorrect and the images demonstrated that the product is a standard screen. I know that Pimoroni has been reported to Trading Standards because of this

Crisp display
Before I bought this, I was reaching behind my TV connecting and disconnecting my HDMI cables, now, now I can sit comfortably and just play with my Pi, I am currently using it with a Zero W, will be getting myself a Pi 4 soon.I currently have it setup as handheld console, with Retropie, it's such a clear beautiful screen, I had to rotate it using the command, the only downside to doing this was, now the touchscreen isn't orientated correcting. Touch works in portrait mode but not so well in landscape (I am trying my best to work out how to fix this, but I don't use it enough to hurry).Easy to assemble, if you know the size difference between the Zero and any of the others, you could probably work out that this screen is bigger than the Zero, so I used my imagination, the standoff and the box it came in, to make my own temporary case, with room to improve. I can even use the lid of the box to keep the screen safe from dust, sunlight and any potential scratches. To install it, I just Google'd hyperpixel 4 commands and got all the info from the links. It's not a huge screen, it's 4 inches, and I love it. I especially love seeing the string of text as it boots up and shuts down, I find it quite entertaining, because the screen is so crisp :D

A very good, high quality screen.
Really well made like most Pimmori products. Fits perfectly fine over my pie 3B.Just follow the instructions for applying drivers and that's it. No dead pixels and the resolution as well as responsiveness is by far the best thing about this little screen.Best screen I have as of right now in its class.

Great picture but all GPIO pins all used.
Great picture on this but has some issues with software and calibration at first, but that depends on how the panel was fitted at the factory, you may get one that was fitted the right way round and not need calibration. It also uses all the GPIO pins and needs drivers to make it work forcing you to use a external usb audio card, the onboard audio works with some retropie images but the sound is weird and distorted.

Looks Great but mine has dead pixels
2 dead pixels which aren’t in easy places to ignore, would be 5 stars otherwise.Better than any other screen this size you can get just disappointed with the dead pixels!
