Very disappointed
The software is easy to use, but scanning quality is horrible. I bought this for scanning a lot of documents, poor results. Even with 4 LED lights, it is also dark, not 12MP as described.

CHINESE MADE PRODUCT THAT WON'T DO 12 MEGA PIXELS!
This product is ok but then capability's as stated for product are deceptive when you are searching for a product to buy.The software that comes with this OCR scanner which is on a USB drive limits you to 8 mega pixels. I am running this on a Windows 10 machine with 4 gigabytes of memory. If you are running PCMATIC for security you will have to turn off SUPER SHIELD then install the OCR scanner software then turn SUPER SHIELD back on. The OCR software is so so I recommend buy other OCR SOFTWARE.

it didn't work well with my pc as it was too slow to handle the doc cam. when i asked for a return the company quickly responded. They processed the return promptly. overall the product seemed fine.

Not for the classroom
I bought this document camera for my classroom. Unfortunately, it has very a very poor display quality. It is very blurry. I tried to enhance my picture, and that just made it worse. I am unsure where you could use this, but it’s definitely not in a classroom.

My phone with MS Office Lens takes a better "Scan"
It might be the software, but really I couldn't get even light across the page, and the LEDs do not light the page well enough to "scan". My phone did a better job.

Complicated
The product is nicely designed but extremely confusing and complicated to install. No CD comes with it. We had to look on past reviews to get the driver information to install it but in the end the product had a grey haze over the image we could not figure out how to clear up. We returned it as we were not sure if this was a product defect or result of being unable to figure out how to modify the resolution. We had professional IT persons working on this and they could not get it to work.
