Don't let the low price fool you. This is a GREAT little lamp!I bought this for my husband's desk. There isn't an outlet for a plug in the middle of the room so he needed something cordless. It's very sturdy and well balanced. It has adjustable brightness that is amazing. If he's working with the overhead light off, this lamp gives him the level of brightness that he wants. It's nice that it keeps the light on his keyboard without shining into the hall and the bedroom door two feet away from the open office space.He gets about 80 hours of use before he has to recharge it. Speaking of recharging, the charging cord is plugged into his computer so no need to run yet another cord across the room. The charging cord also lights up when the lamp is charging. It looks like the rope lights you hang up at Christmas, only smaller.Overall, I'm very happy with this lamp and my husband thinks it's the best thing he's ever gotten. (I should have held on to it and gave it to him for Christmas!)

We are in an area that sometimes has extended power outages and I needed a lamp so that i could read or do other things during those times. For reading, I prefer to have the light output be more to the 'warm' incandescent side of the spectrum rather than the bright white. This lamp fulfilled my expectations in terms of adjustment range for the spectrum of light and for operating for a long period of time. After a full charge I got 7 hours of operation at full intensity and recharge time was about 5 hours. I was so satisfied with this lamp that I replaced my plug in desk lamp with this little beauty and my wife now wants one for her desk. This seems to be a well built lamp and operation wise it meets or exceeds the claims of the manufacturer.

It looks nice but there is no way to change the bulb when it dies. I feel like this is the biggest drawback. Contacted customer service and they said they cannot replace bulbs after 1 year which isn’t very helpful since it will probably last beyond 1 year. Wanted to love it but it just isn’t a very practical lamp that will last you.*Update: I looked online and found that 50,000 hours should last, here is what google reports “Many LEDs have a rated life of up to 50,000 hours. This is approximately 50 times longer than a typical incandescent, 20-25 times longer than a typical halogen, and 8-10 times longer than a typical CFL. Used 12 hours a day, a 50,000 bulb will last more than 11 years. Used 8 hours a day, it will last 17 years!”With that my fears are dispelled. 17 years is good for me. I fully recommend this product, since it looks beautiful, is built well, and also functionally will last for a long time.

This is the handiest, most brilliant thing! It sounded like something everyone should have and indeed, I wonder how I've lived without it. Still contemplating the multitude of uses, and I could even afford it on my little income! Will make a perfect Christmas present for several people.The two simple buttons are not "push" buttons. A simple touch is all that's needed, and their uses are clearly explained. The flexible neck has a smooth glide, and it feels strong and solid, even elegant. You'll need to use your own cell phone brick, but who doesn't have one? Its own cord is supplied, and it charged just fine.The light covers a large area, and it's bright enough for detail art or craft work, or it dims well for ambiance or spot lighting. The 30 minute timer is a huge plus, and the uber-lightweight portability is invaluable! Do I sound tickled?

It's one of my top purchases on Amazon: the quality exceeds the price so much! I'm an undergrad student and spend almost whole day in front of my study desk either reading or working on my computer. I find it harder to concentrate on my work with the subpar lighting from my walmart lamp, and this lamp has literally brightened up my world.What I like about the lamp: First of all it came well-packaged but not overly wrapped. The design is minimalist and thoughtful. 1)You can either plug it in as usual or use a USB charging 2)The main neck of the lamp can easily move on an axis 3)The light is soft and has two different modes of light, warm and cold. 4)The level of brightness is easily adjustable thanks to its mechanical knob. You can switch by simply holding onto the power button for a couple seconds. 5) It's in small size not taking lots of space but provides very good brightness. 6)it's so light! You can literally take it anywhere in the house you like! 7)the control panel only has 2 things: mode and brightness level, not complicated and super easy even for elderly or kids.What I don't like about this lamp:Nothing much because I absolutely love this lamp, just a small inconvenience: the everything about this lamp is on an axle, meaning everything moves on linearly: there's not much room to adjust the light in a 3-D fashion.I highly recommend this lamp!

Very impressed! I have purchased several compact USB rechargeable lamps over the last year or two. I am a big fan because of their portability, their wireless function, their light weight and their very surprising light output. This lamp passes the test in all categories. I am now very used to the various touch sensitive switch functions. It does take some getting used to but I find the switches to be fantastic once you have the hang of it. Just a brief tap and you are in business. In the dark you can slide your finger across the surface and once you reach the sensitive pad it turns on.I also use these lamps on my boat and they are outstanding for that application due to their tiny power requirements. If you have a small aux usb battery on board =, this lamp will literally go for weeks before you need to plug into your boat VDC power.The other thing I really really like is the ability to set color temperature. Easy on the eyes soft white or hi color temperature bright white for work projects.Outstanding!

This product works great, looks good but I feel a slightly better description is needed or a clarifyer at the least. I erroneously assumed with the shape of the base, that the whole base was touch controlled, which was the selling feature for me. In reality the elbow attaching the arm of the light is touch to turn on and twist to dim. I again assumed it was dimmable through touch. I am keeping them as they will function for me till I find what I want but a better description of function is needed I believe.

Good light, lots of options. Just wished it came with a power unit instead of just a micro-B USB cable, expecting us to charge it with a laptop... Bought a dedicated 5W power supply to keep it permanently charged.

Style and brightness were both fine, but the power switch is hidden underneath the base, and is far too small to be convenient. The light makes reading much easier, and the battery life seems to be quite good.The instructions were not of much use, as the details were inadequate, and the print was too small for most people to be able to read.Overall, we were happy with the product, but some design changes to the controls would make it more practical.

Bought for a bedside reading light but have found so many more applciations.Has found it way to office, kitchen island for tasks, armchair for reading...Easily portable it provides a great little light source for a variaety of tasks.

This is my third different crakes lamp, and so far, this is the best one. The light is brighter and stronger, it doesn’t tip over easily as the other ones did, and much quicker to recharge.Thoroughly recommend it!
