Seems to work flawlessly for the purpose
Used it with the Panasonic system and it seems to work flawlessly for the purpose. I use the timing feature to have the light on when I get in from work and off after bed time, though I usually turn it off manually via my smart phone. It is also good to turn on my living room light, while at work, to check when an alarm sounds from the system and reported on my phone. If I see my cats are sleeping I know there is no one in the house.

Panasonic has a working product here. You have to have the panasonic home system and it seems to be functioning has advertised. I don't have reset the device like my wink products. If you have a panasonic system it's worth it to get a few.

Either this example was defective, or the whole concept doesn't work.
I bought this item to control a more powerful siren than the wimpy version sold by Panasonic. When registered and programmed, it crashed the system. I'm hoping it was defective and have returned it and ordered another. Here's hoping.Kudos to Amazon's excellent return policy!
