Sturdy, all-steel, including the flag and latch
I don't care what the specs say, my flag and latch are a nice strong steel. This is a very nice box. The picture makes it looks greenish-gray, but mine is true gray, a pleasant dark but warm shade of gray, no green about it.

Nice, sturdy mailbox
This is a nice sturdy XL rural mailbox and will hold most packages. (Holds the USPS Large Flat Rate box with plenty of room to spare.) These big mailboxes are getting hard to find and we actually have this one for a spare. It will paint it and probably put it up in the spring.

Looks nice
Nice looking mailbox but it is not as 'indestructable' looking as I was lead to believe. We have very inconsiderate snow plow drivers and they have destroyed 3 mailboxes in 3 years! So, we'll see how this one holds up. I'm not convinced that it will hold up. I have warned the County boss that the next time I have a mailbox that needs replaced due to the stupid drivers, They are going to pay to have it replaced!
