Definitely not what I thought… It’s better!!!
Amazon pictures made think this was plastic, and maybe a one job tool.. Nope!!!It is a actual steel forged 1/2” drive socket, and it’s got some weight to it too…It arrived extremely well packaged… I can’t wait to use it for changing out my beat up old OEM 4x4 hubs

Makes the job easy.
I was able to position the socket and hold it in place while hammering a breaker bar to loosen the nut. The socket grabbed well and stayed in position. It made the job easy.

Fits 1997 F250HD with Dana 50 frontend
Perfect fit for my Warn manual hubs, socket fits on snugly unlike the other types so makes torquing back down easy

Great tool
Very nicely built. Doesn't resemble any of the cheap junk available.

It works
Worked on my 97 f250 dana 50ttb when swapping to manual hubs. The socket does not have a spot cut out for the little pin on the inner nut.

Fits 1996 F250 4x4 with 4600# Front Axle
Used this socket on my 1996 F250 4x4 PSD with Dana 50 4600# front axle. Fit perfectly. There is some confusion whether to use this item, 7158, or the 7157 version, for my 1996 F250. I took the advise of previous reviews and bought this one even though the range of vehicles listed with the 7158 *does not* include my '96 F250... but it did work.

WILL NOT WORK WITH WARN P/N 32720 SPINDLE NUTS
WILL NOT WORK WITH WARN P/N 32720! I'm sure this is the proper tool for the stock Chevy 3/4 ton K20 nuts, but the proper Warn nuts you have to get with the Warn premium hubs (P/N 20990) will not fit this tool. I'm not exactly sure what tool you're supposed to get since it's apparently a national security issue for some reason.I'm going to try this one next: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015UV6LQ/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DERLISTEN TO ME, I just paid $7 bucks in return shipping for this information.

This socket is well made but didn't fit my application as stated in the description. Get out a tape measure and be sure what size you need. This did not fit my '81 3/4 ton K20 chevy front axle hubs.

Works on my Ford Dana 60s. It's a little more "off" fitment-wise than others I've had, but it tends to the "too tight" side of things which isn't the worst. So far I've used it a handful of times, and it's worked without fail.

Worked great on a 1991 F250
Worked great on a 1991 F250. Had another tool(universal) but it would not grab on like this one and would slide/twist off. This one I could apply proper torque and did not feel like it was going to pop off or slip and damage the locking ring.
