The part fix my Chevrolet suburban I would order again

I was replacing the intake gasket on my 5.3 and i replaced the cam position sensor with your product sense you can not get to it otherwise. After installation, the truck was hard starting and run bad. Removed the intake AGAIN and put original sensor back in and truck ran fine. Very disappointed

Changed sensor while intake was off for other work. Engine ran rough and threw cam sensor code problem cleared when old sensor was reinstalled

With no other changes, truck was so out of time, it would not crank several times, just click - starter could not turn engine over. When I got it to run, it was terrible. Swapped new one out and reinstalled old one, ran the way it was, misfire. This part did not help my situation, only made it worse.

Didn’t work from the start. Had to take the intake off twice

This was a defective sensor that didn't work. It fit in 04 chevy suburban as described. I installed it with a new pigtail connector and threw cam code as soon as I started it. I reinstalled the original sensor and it fixed the code. Ultimately my issue was the corroded pigtail. Save your money and put it toward a better quality sensor.

Cheap stuff cheap quality, ended up cleaning the old one and it actually worked!

I got this for my 2006 Hummer H2, I took it to a professional automotive repair shop and they said this part was junk. It didn’t do the job needed and unfortunately I forgot to return it. Highly unsatisfied.
