iPhone 6s Screen Replacement Black, LCD Display & Touch Screen Digitizer Frame Assembly with Repair Tools

Was cleaning gutters on the roof and my phone fell out of my pocket falling 3 stories and hitting concrete. Screen shattered so I decided I’d order this and keep my phone going. No problems with it. Took my time replacing it while watching a YouTube video on how to do it. Turned it on and replaced the battery while I was at it. Touch screen is responsive and has no noticeable difference in quality from the OEM. Would buy again. Keeping this phone as long as possible!

Installed this today on my model 1688 and screen worked perfectly. One note is that there are several components that you need to take off the original iPhone screen including the large shield, top camera ribbon with the sensor array, and fingerprint home button (as always due the the phone encryption being tied to the fingerprint scanner). Everything went back together perfectly. The need to transfer more components is part of why this kit costs less than the $60 iFixit kit. The seller provides full video instructions on YouTube with good English, which they email you a few hours after the purchase. The extra effort to remove the shield screws and front camera assembly screws was manageable and worth the savings in kit cost.One personal peeve is that this kit does not include new screen adhesive. This is not required as you can probably reuse the old adhesive, but in my case I fully cleaned off the mounting surface since since I was also installing a battery which came with the adhesive. Would be nice to see them include adhesive in the future as the old adhesive gets pretty dusty and beat up over time and the fresh adhesive really ensures everything buttons back up snug.

First of all I want to give this five stars because it did exactly what it was supposed to do I just want to mention some issues. First the Screen was a perfect fit and could not tell the difference between the original and replacement. I bought this to change a iPhone 6s screen that I bought cheap to flip. First it was basically the cheapest screen replacement kit with tools and decent reviews I could find at 19.99. Everything went as expected for a first time repair. The “pry” tool was ok looked pretty cheap and rough around the edges and the Phillips head was great except I stripped one screw that held the lcd down (I found a way to get it out) but that might of been on me won’t blame the screw driver too much. Both screw drivers seemed good quality except the magnetic pull was pretty weak barely able to hold those tiny screws at times, so really have me some trouble on setting the screws back in not so much taking them out. Overall I would recommend.

Took me about 4 hours to complete the install. Separating the old screen from the phone back, undoing all the little screws, unplugging the old screen cables, removing the home button, all went pretty smooth. But that sensor was very frustrating; the cables kept getting in the way and twisted, it was hard to tell where to cut and where to pry, and worst of all, a few little pieces (the little clear plastic lens bracket and little ambient sensor gizmo) stayed behind. It took a lot of YouTube research to get all the pieces transferred over and finally get it all back together right. Personally I would recommend finding a replacement screen with a new sensor array already installed rather than this stripped down model.It was a huge relief when I got all back together and the thing actually turned on. New screen looks and works great.

The new screen from this company was amazing and it looked brand new and everything but right when I was about to out the screen on it was MISSING the raised edge to slide the new screen back into place. In the photo, the one below is the original cracked screen and as you can see there is a raised edge to put the screen back on, whereas the new screen by this company didnt have that slit so I was unable to put the screen back on.. highly disappointed, and I tried to email the company about it and their email system hasnt been set up either. I do not recommend this company

Great price for a replacement screen. Looks brand new again. I followed the directions and also reviewed a couple YouTube tutorials before tackling the replacement. Straight forward process. Just be careful to protect the ribbon cables and connections so you don’t damage anything. Very pleased so far.You must reuse the home button, ear speaker and front camera. This is just a stripped down screen to replace your broken screen. Very simple to do and worth the savings to reuse your current interior pieces.Picture looks just as good as the original.

Fast shipping and most of the screen is as advertised and great from what I can tell. The home button doesn't work with fingerprints now even though this screen was advertised as having fingerprints working if you use your original home button which is the only choice and this isn't my first rescreen so not sure why it doesn't but that's my only complaint this far. I just installed it a few hours ago and so far everything else looks great and works well. I'll update if I find different results over the next couple days. I will say to save others the headache that if the screen won't turn on after you are sure you got the cables on (which if they connect and stay connected they most likely are) to test the screen before closing it up then push and hold at the same time the home button, power button and either volume up or volume down(I believe up but can't remember you can Google it too) and as soon as you see the apple let go. I thought I got a bad screen but it kept making noise so I Googled and found its very common the screen won't turn on after switching it until you do the button combo. Good luck!

Pros: easy to installCons: If your fingers are fat like mine, you may have issues transferring the rear facing camera. But if you want to save some money, this is the one to get albeit you’ll have to transfer the lens mounting bracket or else the rear camera won’t sit aligned to the rear lens window.Good value but if you’ve never done this before you may want to get a panel with all the hardware attached at a higher cost. Just be careful and keep track of everything you do and this will save you money.

Blue spot near top next to battery status. Not impressed considering how a somewhat complex job it is to replace the screen.

I found the supplied tools were able to do the job, I followed a video on YouTube and the phone is now working fine with a uncracked screen, image quality is very good on the new screen.
