Stay Cool, Stay Classy! 🧊
The BrüMate Hopsulator Trio is a 3-in-1 insulated can cooler designed for 12oz and 16oz cans, featuring double-walled stainless steel construction that keeps beverages 20x colder than traditional coolers. It also functions as a leak-proof tumbler, ensuring no spills while maintaining the perfect temperature for both cold and hot drinks.

Improvements needed
First of all, this review is for the v2.0 version of the Hopsulator Trio, the one currently available. A lot of the reviews and pictures here are for an older version that may not have had the issues I experienced. Even though I really wanted to like this product, I’m not a fan of this new version. I read the reviews and was looking forward to using it, especially with the “arctic adapter” in the summer. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. To start, this is what I liked about it:The idea behind this is great. A koozie that does an even better job of keeping your drinks cold on hot days by adding an internal ice pack.Versatility. I love the idea of being able to use one item for large or small cans, as well as using it as an insulated a pint cup. But, on to what I didn’t like:When I first opened it, the inside was all wet. Upon inspection, it looks like the “arctic adapter” leaked and the gel that should keep it cold had made its way throughout the inside of the packaging bag. I was disappointed, but not deterred… I did an Amazon return and requested a replacement thinking it had to be a fluke. Replacement came. Same issue. Exactly. Contacted Brumate directly to see what they could do, but they just told me to return it through Amazon. Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for, and not looking to order a third to find out that this is just an issue that these have. The frozen adapter was the biggest selling point for me, so this was a big letdown.Unlike any similar products I’ve used, the ring at the top of this does not lock the can into it. I guess it is nice to not have to unscrew the top to put a can in – you can just slide it in, but in the cans I tested the fit was loose. I was just returning it, so I didn’t get to actually use it to drink with, but the cans would spin around freely. Obviously you wouldn’t tip it upside down when you had an open can in it, but, if you did it with a closed can, it slides right out. I think this would also limit the effectiveness of the vacuum insulation… you don’t really want air to be able to move in and out as it defeats the purpose. Definitely looking for a more snug fit.The drinking lid doesn’t use the threads on the top of the container. It has the push in type seal that I’ve seen and used on other insulated pint cups. The problem, again, is the fit. It doesn’t fit as tightly as I’d like, and the seal sits just below the thread, so a slight bump from the underside seems like it could easily dislodge it. Again, I didn’t get a chance to use it since there were already problems when I opened it so it was getting returned, but I could very easily see ice inside your drink knocking the lid off once you get to the bottom of your beverage.I’d love to see some improvements made to this product, then I’d definitely be interested in trying it again.

Fits 16oz can and keep it cold
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Fantastic product! Fits the 16oz cans of beer I normally drink from and bottles as well. Keeps them very cold for a long time, but only tested indoors. The true test will be when I use it on the beach, but I’m positive it will knock it out of the park! The wife and I have several now in many colors and we absolutely adore them.

I like it, just make sure the Hopsulator insert is FROZEN.
It’s pretty solid and feels well built and tough. If you are drinking one beer after another, then yes of course the beer will stay cold. I mean it will stay cold in my hand too. So I put it to the test (with and without the insert being frozen). Not frozen: The beer got warm after 30 minutes as the beer tried to cool the insert (but who babysits their beer, really)Frozen: I placed the frozen insert along with a cold beer from the fridge right before I left to work at 7am. During my lunch hour both the Hopsulator and the beer were still cold. You could actually feel the coldness on the actual outside of the Hopsulator. When I got home at 5pm the beer was chilled, it wasn’t super cold like around lunch time but it wasn't hot either. I opened it and it passed, it was chilled drinkable 👍🏼Recommendation: make sure the insert is frozen.

Keepin Cool
Holy smokes this actually acts as a refrigerator for your beer. I have had beers in the fridge actually get colder when I put the frozen hockey puck inside to fit a regular can when I put the beers in the BruMate. I was on the beach in 90+ degrees and my beer bottle was still cold 2 hours later. This fits standard cans, tallboys, and even regular bottles. It has a little slop when holding a regular bottle but still does a good job at keeping the important stuff cold! I love that it has two flat sides in the design, making it ergonomic to hold with my fingers and thumb. The last thing that makes this above and beyond any other coozie is that it is a standalone drinking vessel with its own sealable lid. That's right this is a triple threat and can do it all!

Works for bottles too!
I loves this coozie. It fits a 16oz Momster can perfectly as well as a normal 12oz can. You can also get a bottle to fit in the coozie but will have to place a folded paper towel in the bottom. Very happy with this purchase.

Please read. Compare this to a yeti or any other coosy this thing is flippin awesome. First time I used It I was on a 4 hour drive and had my extra drink in container with previously frozen bottom. I got to my destination and forgot about drink in car. It was a 97* day so pretty hot in car. I went out a few hours later and the drink was still ice cold. Next awesome use I had A drink around 7pm left it by pool on purpose and the next day the insert was still very cold not sure about frozen but pretty cool for a empty glass bottom in there all night.

If you like quality cans of fresh brew, you will LOVE this insulator!
Yes! Exactly what I hoped for. I am so excited to write a review for the Brumate, Hoppsulator Trio. First of all, the build quality is amazing. I love the brush, matte style finish. Feels great in your hand, nice grip, and excellent quality. Keeps your delicious cans cold for so long! 16 or 12 oz. I spend a lot of money on quality beers. I want them to be enjoyable to the last sip. Especially the juicy ones! Hats off to Brumates and this insulator. Love the option to use as actual mug too, but I mostly just pop 16 oz cans of fresh hoppy goodness and off I go. Perfect for shows, BBQs, tailgating! Love it. Definitely going to check out more products from this company. Quality is second to none. Reminds me of a certain vacuum insulated hydro water bottle. A little pricier than some, but worth every penny.Stoked!!!

Great for hot beverages too!
I’m the kind of person who makes a coffee and gets busy doing things around the house or at work. Not being a microwave user, you can imagine that I throw out a LOT of coffee. I tried this as soon as it arrived on my doorstep for my morning Java and Lo and Behold, my coffee stayed at the perfect drinking temperature for HOURS!!! I also bought the Army Green for a future gift and came back for the Hot Pink for myself :D. The colour of the Blue is gorgeous! If you’re on the fence because of price, DO IT! You won’t be sorry! It’s worth every penny! My ice water is currently still going strong! Love, love, love this product!

4* in 1 is better than 1 in 1
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have a few Thermos brand colsters around the home which have been great. However, the Thermos’s were only designed to fit 355 ml cans. I was looking for a colster that would fit both 500 ml and 473 ml cans, primarily to be a bit more discrete at the beach and on the golf course. ;)The other major brand out there which has tall can colsters in their lineup doesn’t support 500 ml import cans, which this Brumate does. It comes with a gel pack which can be frozen and inserted in order to keep your 355 ml cans extra chilled. It even comes with a drink lid so you can drink straight from it as well. There isn’t much these guys haven’t thought about and covered. They come in a range of colours, but I am strictly stainless at this point because of my past experiences with paint chipping off these.* 4 Options500 ml (17 oz) cans355 ml (12 oz) cans (with freezable gel insert)473 ml (16 oz) cansDrink receptacle (hot or cold)Pros:☺ Supports both 500ml and 473ml cans! (bonus points here)☺ Versatility; can be used as a beverage receptacle as well.☺ Snug fit☺ Gel Ice pack, keeps those 355’s chilled.☺ Ergonomic grooves for a comfortable fit for smaller handsCons:None that I have noticed. Conclusion: The versatility alone makes this colster a great option .... Highly Recommended

Super Sparkly
The only fault I have with the Hopsulator is that the one I received has a small nick in the glitter paint above the logo. I absolutely love how sparkly it is, it is amazing at keeping beers cold and secure! I have a can cooler that only fits small cans and it's okay, but the can still rattles around a bit. The flexibility of can size you get with the Hopsulator is a win, especially with the frozen puck to keep normal sized cans super cold! I wish the one I'd received didn't have a scratch in the paint as I plan to baby it and keep it pristine, but I'm enjoying it too much to try to swap it for an undamaged one.

The Best
Welcome to the most well thought out insulated beverage container in the world. Keeps coffee perfect for the exact right amount of time you need to enjoy it at the perfect temp. Heading to a Canadian beach where there are to many rules against having a beer on the beach? Problem solved. Heading to your 5 year old kids friends birthday party? Problem solved. The empty can you take out is somehow colder than when you put it in! Best gift for buddies but only if they appreciate the best things in life. Don’t waste it on someone that doesn’t appreciate quality.
