Runs well, spec'ed well
This is working very well for a water level detector. The accompanying spec sheet is very thorough, except it does not spec the maximum current through the switching transistor.

Could range
This sensor is capable of detecting through 9mm of Polyproo pipe. The other sensors with digital sensitivity calibration could not do that.

good
works good. lets see in 6 months

This thing is amazing, it can sense the water level through a 3/8" thick plastic tank
I was skeptical, but for $13.00, I figured I'd give it a try and it is amazing.

Not what I ordered.
The product works well. I am using the sensors to check water level in a vertical 2" ABS pipe. I ordered two NPN (5 - 12v) sensors. I received one NPN and one PNP. The voltage range was correct on both sensors. For my application NPN verses PNP was not an issue because I am only using the sensor to power an LED indicator.

Working great
Colsoned it on a 20mm pvc tube ans wired it directly on raspberry pi gpio (NPN version) working great.Already well tuned for my pool water level adjustment, but sensitivity can be adjusted if you need.Exactly what I was looking for.

Not Functioning as Marked
Ordered three of these expecting PNP type as described. When they arrived and after some hair-pulling and experimentation discovered these are high-level output types. They are marked PNP on the bodies, but they are not. Order these elsewhere so you don't get one of these mismakred items.
