Awesome little vintage speaker with pixel art LED
This speaker is very nice. When i saw it i know i had to get it, it looks like one of those vintage TV sets from the 60's. It has the curve and the knob on the right side just like those TV's. The speaker has a knob on the right side which you can rotate to select the various different pixel art presets. It can also be pushed down. There’s a button underneath the knob which you can press when you want to pair the Bluetooth with your phone or other transmitting device. The speaker is surprisingly heavy and I didn’t expect it to be this heavy but it’s pretty heavy. This means it feels good when holding and looks like a premium product which it is. The power button is on the back and so is the USB-C charging port. It is under a rubber flap so no dust can get in. There’s also an SD card slot so you can plug in an SD card full of music/podcasts and play without any device streaming to it. Overall the design is pretty simple and straight forward. The main thing everyone looks for when buying a mid-high priced Bluetooth speaker is the sound, this speaker does not disappoint in that department. The sound is absolutely amazing and the bass is surprising because the unit itself isn’t too big. There’s a pocket at the back which throws air out like any other woofer. It is pretty loud as well, matter of fact I had to keep it at 65%-75% volume because I didn’t want the neighbors to complain. Now the best part of this speaker is the pixel art LED’s. This feature is absolutely amazing and awesome. They have installed a lot of presets which you can navigate through the knob on the right. You can download their app and make custom art and send it directly to the speaker which displays the art in real-time, meaning as you draw, you get to see the image being drawn on the speaker too. There’s a community on the app which submits all sorts of pixel art and animations, again you can select them simply tapping them and the art is displayed instantaneously on the speaker. There’s a clock on the speaker (it automatically gets adjusted when you connect with app, otherwise it was showing wrong time). There’s even pixel games you can play like Tetris, which was so much fun, you rotate the blocks with the press of the knob and move the blocks left and right by turning the knob left or right. It’s very cool. There’s different modes, music visualizations, DJ visualizations, animated art. You can save a bunch of these to the device itself and have them play in a loop. This speaker is very cool and will definitely turn heads when you have a party or company over. It has that factor which wow’s on first look and keeps on impressing.

Gorgeous portable speaker along with some amazing pixel art display
Tivoo Max is a well built speaker and it looks beautiful no matter in what corner you put this speaker cum led display in your house. As soon as you pick it up, you can feel the weight of it because it’s 3lbs in weight which makes you believe the build quality. The display also gets quite bright and the colors look vibrant coming out of it. Display looks crisp and clean with slim borders and also, looks retro at the same time. Geeks are going to love this and also, anyone who is into retro styled products as well as LEDs. This might become talk of your house for your guests once they see this amazing little thing. This is honestly the perfect thing for people who love having a little personal flair in their bedroom, or on their desk. Need a little holiday cheer? Put up a nice pixel-y Christmas. I get such a kick out of seeing the Tivoo-Max out of the corner of my eye, and catching whatever design I've got set. It puts a little smile on my face. Setup is fairly easy for this product, just download the app and connect via app and that is it.This isn't just a pretty screen to display your designs, either. One of the best and most useful features of the Tivoo-Max is the notification system. When your phone is connected via Bluetooth, alerts such as phone calls, texts, Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, or Snapchat will appear in a cutesy pixelized icon on the screen of the Tivoo-Max. It's such a great way to keep track of your phone notifications, without having to constantly look down at your phone all the time, or let you easily see alerts you might have missed if you keep your phone on DnD/mute.Now, the sound quality output is shockingly good. Not only can it get incredibly loud, but the 2.1 speakers also manage to play some great-sounding audio. It packs some serious bass for it’s size. Also, one more thing that makes a product successful is by it’s community. There are a tons of artists and people creating new pixel art for the display non-stop everyday so you would never get bored of a pixel art and can always find new ones on the companion app. This gadget has got so much to offer and well worth it. One of the best products of it’s kind.

It speaks to my 8-bit heart!
I'm on my first week of use. I spent the first half playing with the options and creating 8-bit animations. I enjoy the active community on the app. I would like to have the ability to download the app on my lap top. Having more options than just my small phone screen would be nice. It would also be nice to have all the icons labeled and explained in a settings or help section. For the most part they are quite intuitive, but it would be good to leave no doubt for what things are meant to represent.16X16 pictures are my jam. I am looking forward to many relaxing nights creating animations. I would like to see the 64X64 option incorporated into the screen not converted down to 16. There are so many beautiful creations at the higher resolution, it seems a shame to have them not display properly on such a big screen. So far the sound is quite nice. Much better than the last few blue tooth speakers I've burned out. I have high hopes for it. Today I've been testing it in my back yard and the connectivity and clearness has been impressive. I was very impressed with the box it came in. It was well protected and even came with an AUX cord. Many of my prior speakers died at the bluetooth connectivity and was only "saved" by using an AUX that I had at home. None of them came with one. So seeing that included made me feel like they get it.Overall, there is so much potential in this company and community as a whole. I am glad I found it and look forward to see them grow. The speaker is all I've hoped it to be and Ive been taking it to every room I spend time in.

A Brilliant, Unique Bluetooth Speaker Experience!
Where to start with this speaker. Not only is it a genuinely enjoyable blueooth speaker but it's a fantastic arty addition to any occasion. I've been using this device for just over 2 weeks now so I've broken this review down into various parts, please see below:• Packaging / First ImpressionsReally really impressed with the quality of packaging and the unboxing experience Divoom provides on all of it's products. It's up there with Apple products. It's no different here, the box is thick and very nicely made to tight tolarances. When you pull apart the box there is resistance and once inside, all device, cables and documentation is all nicely laid out and well protected. This can especially be said for the device itself with various peels and protectors.• Build QualityDivoom has really knocked it out of the park with the Tivoo Max in regards to the build quality and overall feel. It certainly lives up to being Divoom's Flagship speaker. The steel case is very nicely produced, with no machining marks or unfinished looking bits. I picked up the red version of the speaker and the paint is perfect, no bubbles or blemishes. All of the speaker ports are really nicely deesiged; rounded and finished with high quality grilles. The touch controls are nicely implimented into the top of the device, and the chrome effect side knob and rubber tipped feet are again, high quality and nicely match the retro asthetic Overal I really cant knock how this thing looks and feels, it takes pride of place on my dresser and attracts compliments from visistors even before they witness the amazing screen...• PIxel Art DisplayThis is the killer feature of Divoom devices. The built in 256 (16x16) RGB LED grid display on the front that displays pixel artwork. It looks beautiful no matter which of the 16 million colours it's displaying. The colours are incredibly vibrant and brightness is brilliant. I think it's ever so slighly more vibrant than their other display the Pixoo which is already impressive enough. The screen works really nicely in well lit rooms too, being easy to view. It's a multi use display, so when not displaying pixel art, it also can double as a very very attractive clock that also provides date amnd weather information. The speaker can also be set up to display device notifications.• The AppA speaker with so many features could so easily be tripped up by a clunky app but again Divoom have delivered here. The app is easy to use and gives users easy access to amazing veriaty of features the speaker can do. I have already enjoyed designing my own artworks and animations and found it really easy and enjoyable to do. Divoom have also succesfully built up a very extensive and active user base, so there is an endless veriety of artwork from thousands of users to upload and display on your device, both beginner and pro. It is through the app that you also get to control the various other funtions the speaker can provide. As previously mentioned it can be set up to make a killer (alarm) clock but there is so much more it can so. To name some of my favourite features;• Musical equaliser with lots of different effects,• You can play games on the device using the knob to control(!!!)• The speaker can display device notifications for well known apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram.• Sleep aid with various whote noise and lighting effects.• Stopwatch and timer• Scoreboard• Daily planner• Sound level meter.• DJ mixer(!!!)There are so many features of this speakers that this list doesnt even come close to covering it. It's so so so much more than just a bluetooth speaker. Really really impressive.• Sound QualityAs a bit of a power user when it comes to speakers and audio this was the main aspect I was most interested with the speaker. The Tivvo Max provides 2.1 sound from it's 2x10w drivers and a 20w subwoofer with bass port for a total of 40w. It provides a very well rounded and enjoyable sound. The subwoofer really helps to give the speaker some ommph and it can easily stand among other speaker brands that are specifically just speakers. It can also get really bloody loud. No matter what I've played, from classical to house, techno to rock it's filled my living room with quality sound. It connects to devices with blueooth 5 and over 2 weeks I've not had a single signal fallout when moving my device around the room. The device uses a DSP (Digital Sound Processor) to constantly tune the sound for optimum output and it's performed very well. It works great at home and I can imagine would make an amazing office speaker. Overall a very capable speaker that lets out a room filling sound.• Other features to noteThe speaker comes with a built in 10,000mah battery whick means you can use the device portabaly and just adds to how useful it is. I wouldnt use this as a portable speaker personally, it's too nice a object to want to throw in a bag. On the rear you have the power button, charging port and Aux input under a nice rubber flap. It charges with micro-usb, which is the only real thing I would improve. The other speakers I have from Divoom have made the switch to USB-C but hopefully they will update this. It's certainly no deal breaker!• SummaryI love this thing. I first bought into Divoom as a brand with the Pixoo and Timebox Evo (both brilliant devices in their own right), but they have really done themselves proud with this speaker. It looks amazing as a clock/weather/calander. Nothing can come close to it as a cool retro looking device. Everyone comments and loves it and that's before it even plays any music. When it does, it suprises everyone with great sound. To some the screen may appear a bit of a gimmick, but I cant disagree more. There's alot of substance here, with genuinely useful features. It's a wicked pixel art display and speaker. I cant recommend it enough.

Optisch wouw, vom Sound naja...

Also wer auf Basslastige Musik (zb.
