Basic tablet for a good price!
The Vulcan Journey was purchased for my daughter to use in order to stay away from my personal tablet. I like that it is user friendly, maybe not for younger kids, but certainly for a 10-year-old. It has a few issues with battery life but it has filled it's overall purpose. It is very basic. Overall good buy!

Finicky. So, so finicky.
First impressions: Woo! Full windows! Small! Bluetooth, quad core, 1gb RAM, memory slot! Feels solid and thin, good weight, feels decent quality for the $70 price at Frys. After having it for 2 months, I'm starting to loath it. Its temperamental, sometimes fast, sometimes locking up for no reason, sometimes eternally slow. Sometimes it disconnects from my wireless network at home and then reconnects (limited) until I reboot. Mine has 8gb storage, but Windows 10 takes up 6.5gb, leaving you no room for anything else. Then after a week, windows 10 needs a major update, which requires 6gb free, so it cannot ever update and is always trying in the background. Even with a 32gb card installed and trying to get the update to download to that storage would not work. Windows 10 has a hard time finding or reading the storage drive. The font is tiny and cannot be made any bigger. Camera is dismal. Apps for Win10 are few and remember your 8gb (1.5 in reality) limit. It's very hard to navigate to the storage drive to install any programs from there. But despite all that, when it does run, it's quick and nice. Videos look great and playback is stutter free for both online content and stored files. Overall I feel this device would be better served with Android 5 Lollipop. At this point the device is only used by my child to play Disney Kids and PBS Kids. If I can get Windows to run more stable or at least more minimally, it may still have its use in my hands. But not right now.

Hey the wife LOVES it perfect for travel and it works great....Did I say the wife LOVES it.....what more can you ask for? Me I'm all thumbs with these things mainly because I can't feel my flippin finger tips so I prefer no less than an 8" tab. Awesome for the price hope this one sticks around.

dont buy
Honestly a piece of junk . Only had for about a week or 2 AMD the speaker had already went our on it .the screen easily scratches anthe camera is horrible . Apps are always closing on their own and it barely keeps a charge . You should just spend the extra money amd get a galaxy tablet or something else.

Got it for my daughter's birthday. She loves it. The only down fall is that the print is small and hard to read.

It's an expensive coaster
A waste of money. Open one program and it's out of memory. Save your money and buy an iPad or a Galaxy.

Great Windows tablet
This little tablet is great. I've been surfing the net and doing same basic stuff with it and it runs quite snappy. For the price this is a best buy!
