Yaxell Tsuchimon 6-Piece Block Knife Set

Truly disappointed here. I spent many days researching some decent production knives as a gift and decided on these. The concept is beautiful although a bit pricey. When I received them (early may I add), this is what I found: The packaging was rather lack luster and unorganized for knives with such a price tag considering the so called pride and rich history the company claims to have. The knives are terribly balanced for my liking, with massively heavy handles. Areas on the handle and bolster were scraped and gouged. The rivets were not all flush and had gaps in them on several knives. The heel of the chef's knife had a rather noticeable chip. Even the printing on the knives was patchy and of terrible quality. Definite return. I am truly disappointed with the quality/fit and finish for something with such a price tag. Too bad I was really in love with the design.
