Defiantly met my expectations. Each button is high quality. Excellent build quality. Easy to install if you have some mechanical skill. Be careful when opening your controller though, lots of little parts. I was able to install this item without disconnecting the battery or touch pad. Only had to disconnect the little ribbon that powers the light. Just be gentle and slow. Took me about 15 minutes to install.Update***It's July 30th, five days after my install of the buttons. I switched out the thumbsticks back to the originals. They were just too slippery for some of the precise shooter games that I play.

I bought 2 sets (red and green) for 2 different PS4 controllers.I had never dissassembled a PS4 controller so I checked a few videos on YouTube for the recommended procedure. For the first controller I used a sharp pocket knife and CAREFULLY separated the 2 outside sides of the controller by wedging the knife in and flexing slightly. After a little effort, it popped apart fairly easy. Overall, I was quickly able to get to the necessary sections to swap these parts by following the YouTube instructions.After initial assembly I had a problem with the R1 button and right stick. They would activate randomly and caused all sorts of issues with my games. So... I took it apart again... it came apart much easier this time. After 3 times of taking it apart and making sure all the rubber button pads were set properly the controller worked perfectly. I must have had one or more of the internal rubber pads out of place the first and second time around.Note: I would recommend doing this over a white paper towel to catch parts that may drop out. I also had to attach the L2 and R2 buttons as they popped off during dissassembly. Be careful not to lose the small springs that attach to the R1 and R2 buttons and the short rubber rod for the reset button. Those are the easiest parts to lose. I also took this opportunity to spray some compressed air into the inside where the control sticks press into place. I also used 91% Rubbing Alcohol and Q-Tips to clean the gaps around the controller... so it looks nearly like new.For my second controller, as I am now a "pro" at taking the PS4 controller apart... it took me less than 15 minutes to complete... after testing it on a couple games, everything works perfectly.I can recommend these highly as they look and feel terrific. Also, the aluminum is not going to wear out like the rubberized original sticks.Enjoy!

Summary:I love the buttons and everything was extremely easy to install. I was looking for the buttons to be 9mm heads and these worked perfect. I wish they had an option to get chrome shotgun shell heads to go onto of the analog sticks but these are ok. I like the sturdiness of the full metal.Install:Easy, extremely easy but be careful of your ribbon cables. This is the fourth time I've opened this controller and I had to replace my ribbon cables because the ends bent. The d pad may seem loose but once the casing is on its fine.Price:Great. I wish their was a customize option so I wouldn't have to get several different set for certain things. Like shell casing for the sticks

Bought the silver set to replace my brand new analog stick that decided to snap in half at the top after a single use. I swear sony just wants to give everyone a big middle finger at this point lol my ps3 controller went through hell and back, what happened sony. AnywayThe metal buttons and sticks fit great, easy to install and I prefer the feel of the sticks over the stock set any day! I never have slips on them either which I can't say for the stock set. This is actually our third set after my partner wanted some to match and replace our extra remotes buttons/sticks.Our Destiny fireteam buddy always tell us he can hear us clicking away at the metal buttons but I actually dig the clicks. Suffer bro

Overall- these pieces are quite solid and not too much heavier than the default plastic, meaning that the controller for me still functions the same with no weight difference.The Joysticks- These are some good joysticks. People have complained, as I will also agree, that the joysticks do sit a little lower than they should. A small, decent wad of paper put in the hole in the underneath of the joysticks should elevate it enough to make the spherical portion flush with the faceplate. If too elevated, then just pack down the paper with something thin and solid suck as a toothpick. Other than that they are nice to have and function fine for me.The D-pad- This is a fine replacement to the default one I have had, some say that it won't fit in their controller, (too small or too big I do not know) but it seems to fit just fine with the JDM-050 controller I have.The Right Hand Buttons- Each of these four buttons, (X, Square, Triangle, Circle) seems fine which is expected since it is the least talked about in other reviews. They fit well and don't seem to stick in my JDM-050 controller.TIPS- if you do plan on getting this, then there are a couple things to note.1. All of this is from my side, it may be different for you depending on the controller type or if you have custom faceplates and or backplates.2. Make sure the rubber that goes behind the D-pad and right hand buttons is secure. I've noticed that if it isn't all secure the buttons would feel different and would sometimes feel weird, so make sure you pack those down wellOther than that, this is a great product that I have seen from it other than the minor issue with the Joysticks.

I'm only giving 4 stars bc one of the joysticks keeps sticking and I took the controller apart 12 times to try and rectify it but it's still a little tight and gets stuck once in a while. Other than that the replacements look AWESOME especially against the blue controller I bought. The material is high quality and feel great under your fingers. I'm considering getting some blue ones to do on the black controller. I love it!!
