Works great with one limitation.
As other reviewers have mentioned, you can't do anything to change anything on the ipod once you have it in the band. BUT if you live in the PNW like me and run in the rain all of the time - you will love this thing. It works great. Just set up your playlist, volume level, pop it in, and go. I hate having to worry about getting expensive music players wet, and this works great for preventing it.

Best armband for nano
This is the best armband I have owned for the nano. I use it with Sennheiser Headphones where the controls are remote controlled on the headphones so no need to access the controls on the nano.

I would not recommend this product
Hard to operate buttons of the ipod, did not account for the headphone jack. Probably keeps the ipod dry if it rains.

Don't buy this one!
I can't stress this enough: Don't buy this strap!!I have no problem with using the controls as others have complained about. I use it for running so I just start it up on shuffle and let it go until I'm done. The only button I ever really need to access is the on/off so it's rarely an issue. That being said, everything else about this strap is rubbish. My biggest complaint is it's a lot of work to make the strap tight enough to stay in place on my arm. The plastic piece the strap loops through rotates almost every time you try to tighten it so it ends up being a struggle to find that split second when it's tight enough just before the plastic piece rotates and makes it loose again. Even then, when you have it just right, during my runs the movement of my arm/bicep would cause the plastic piece to rotate and the strap would slide down my arm. Stopping several times during your runs to fix equipment is no fun. My other complaint is the materials are incredible cheap. It didn't take long for the strap to begin to fray and come apart. I don't mean where the velcro attaches as others have complained about. I mean the material right around the iPod itself. As it frays and comes apart, it makes it even harder than before to tighten the strap, thus making that balance I mentioned before almost impossible.Do yourself a favor and look at other armband straps.

Does what i need it to, no more, no less
This armband will indeed hold your Ipod nano, 6th gen, in place on your arm and will do so for the length of your workout. The strap to velcro it into place bunches up rather easy on my arm, but through patience and learning how to sweet talk it just right, it eventually fits on correctly. The buttons can be pressed, but you must memorize where they are as you will not be able to see or press them easily. Thank goodness there are only three. However of the three there is one I can't get to work without taking the Ipod out of the armband. Finally, the plastic cover over the touch screen does protect it from sweat and water. But it does make the touch screen rather difficult to use. you have to be patient and make your touch commands more than once so it will accept and work for you.As I said, this product, with a little bit of work, does what I need it to do. Which for me is to strap on the Ipod, keep it out of my way to workout, press play, turn up the volume and not move for the entire length of my workout. If you change songs repeatedly through a workout or when your wearing this armband, you'll want to look into a different armband. But if your looking for a good armband to hold your ipod after you press play once and let it run its course through your playlist, this is a fairly good selection and will get the job done for you.

I love thIs little arm band for my little iPod
I love thIs little arm band for my little iPod! I couldn’t figure out how to get the ipod in it at first, but it holds it securely and I can still use the volume, etc with ease. So glad I found it and I received it so quickly! Thank you!!

Great for the money.
Don't waste your money at the apple store. This one works great. The slot is a bit small to fit the nano into, but it fits. Comfortable, decent quality, easy to use, and economically priced. Love it.
