It’s not like a straw as others have said, there’s a thing inside it that moves when you suck on it and it provides resistance, like a cigarette. When you quit smoking, you’re working on quitting two parts of the addiction, the drug and the ritual. This provides some relief for the habitual part of your addiction. Placebo is a poweful thing. Close your eyes, take a drag off this and picture smoke entering your lungs, hold it there and blow out, picture the smoke blowing out of your mouth. You just did a breathing exercise that calms you down like a cigarette would. This is a helpful tool especially if you can’t wean off the nicotine, lets say, if you’re a pregnant woman and you need to stop NOW. or if you’re using nicotine replacement therapy and you want something to hold and satisfy the oral fixation. This thing is great. I got the plain old oxygen one because I’m not too sure about the safety regarding inhalation of flavorings. So mine is unflavored, just a thing to hold and suck on and bite. And it’s great. I hope I don’t lose it. It is kind of pricy but I would buy this again.I will say, there’s quite a bit of airflow resistance which is good in my opinion. This would work better for a mouth to lung smoker like myself rather than a direct to lung smoker. All in all, great safe drug free cessation product. I’m glad it exists. Helped me out immensely.

Had a little success a couple years ago so I thought I'd try these again to quit smoking. They are now made of rubber and hard to inhale. I definitely feel awkward with a blue rubber stick in public vs the old style that looked and felt real. Get something else.

It did not work for me. I soils have bought a bic pen and just held it.

It is what it is. I will have that hand-to-mouth contact and I do like the soft tip better than I thought I would . But disappointed that it did not have the little fan which is why I ordered it and not a flavor QuitGo.

This works for me....costly and wish it was just a fresh air scent instead of a light menthol scent. Regardless it works

I cannot imagine this rubberized squirrel di--do do any good at all! It is flimsy, not at all like holding a cigarette in between your fingers, no draw and who cares if the rubber doesn't taste like rubber, I laughed at it a little a smoke.... this was recommended by the Mayo! WHAT! Someone in research must have had a study running or waiting on a patented....just say no!

It's pretty simple but helps with the habit of hand to mouth. I like that there's No chemicals, just plastic and air. The little resistance upon inhalation mimics a cigarette pretty well. Would buy again. Price is a bit high. I think they should be prices in the $10 to $15 range.

I love that it is the same size and shape as an actual cigarette. The mild hint of flavor is amazing also. I am tapering to quit and using this in between and I am actually at times craving the quitgo instead. Love them!
