They immediately pulled off the feather and enjoy that too.

This is an emery board for cats with a shape designed for good back position while clawing. The sand embedded in the board makes it excellent for its task. All cats I’ve had before my current trio have loved it, thus the 5 stars. This is a superb product. Whether or not a cat will actually use it … 🙄😄😸

Been looking for this for a while and would glad they still make, as they work best for my cats, will order more.

UPDATED REVIEW: I'm changing my review as the next one I ordered DID come with the "sandpaper" texture that "files" the cat's nails and cat's are now both cats are loving it. I'm actually going to order a 3rd one for my sister and will update if that one comes with the "sandpaper" texture.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It's OK, but it's just plain old, cardboard, not like the old "Emery Cat", which had a wonderful "sandpaper" texture on the that gently "filed" the cat's nails. Not sure why they stopped making it, that product was wonderful... This one is just a standard piece of card board shaped into an arch :-(

Well constructed. But, it does not fit into the base that I was hoping this was a refill. Same size but not curved enough

Cat uses this and leaves furniture alone
