OPOLAR Mini USB Desk Fan ,USB Powered, Metal Design, Quiet Operation; 3.9 ft USB Cord, Handheld Size, Power Saving , Personal Table Fan for Home and Office-Blue

I went through 6 cheap, plastic USB fans - they went dead within 3 months of constant use except for one, which lasted 4 months. I purchased these because the reviews are good and they, at least, seem well built.These fans are the Queens knees! All bronze frame with a silver metal fan gives an ever, so slight, "steampunkish" air about them.The fan itself seems more powerful if not a bit heavier than the cheaper plastic fans, it's certainly better built . The USB cable length is acceptable for my needs.I have had them running non-stop for the past couple of weeks and they are still going strong. I will update this review at the point they die on me, so you have some idea of the lifetime.Update: 1/21/2018 - After nearly a month of constant use - fans still run fine. No signs of slowing down. If you run these off of a usb power brick, these fans seem to pull twice the amount voltage that the plastic USB fans did. I could get 24 hours from a plastic USB fan. I get 12 hours use from these.Pip-Pip and Cheerio!

But since the 3rd minute it started to be amazing ! Silent, and super powerful ! I use it only on my desk at work and leave it plugged to my USB, that way it is always ready to blow me away HAHAHA !Personally, the one speed doesn't bother me. I am absolutely not a big fan of air conditioning. I get hot as everybody else, but I do prefer fresh air when I can open my windows, if not a fan is my favorite choice over AC, always. Now for the people always sweating/hot, maybe that would not be enough, or just as an extra.....but I know I have to stop my mini Opolar at one point because it starts to get chilly :).It is mini, but super powerful ! Don't hesitate ! And as a girl, I LOVE ALSO ITS LOOK !!!!! (Yes it matters to me)

I get a lot of compliments on this fan at work! I'm always hot, especially in certain areas of the department, so I bought myself a fan. The mini fans were already getting popular in the workplace, so I wanted a unique color. This fan is perfect.However, the three black grip things on the bottom portion are pretty cheap. Are they supposed to be glued together, to make them solid "rings" around the metal bar? Because mine came off multiple times during transport, and now I only have one left. Just in case you're wondering, the absence of those rubber grips allows the fan to slowly "vibrate" away from where you place it. It's not significant, but I think the fan can be improved. Obviously I would have glued them myself, but I lost two before recognizing the problem.

I bought this 4" table fan because my work area sometimes gets stuffy, and I just need a little air movement. It is BETTER than I expected - it is quiet, doesn't take up much space, and recharges easily at a USB port. (It also comes in different colors - mine is turquoise.) if you're looking for a small quiet fan, this is the one to get.**I wrote that review sometime last summer, and as the weather has begun heating up this year (5/17), I've been thinking for the last month or so that I really should write another review about my OPOLAR fan. It's small, quiet, attractive, and totally effective at moving just enough air in whatever direction you choose - this will enable you to delay turning on your A/C for several hours. This has been especially helpful for me, since for the past year I have been suffering from some really vicious hot flashes! I can turn the fan on and off with a flick of the finger as needed. For comfort and convenience this fan cannot be surpassed.Just an update from October of 2017 - this fan is still going strong - still keeping the air moving - still quiet, and still one of the best deals on Amazon; if you’re thinking about buying one, make it this one!

Fan is perfect size, quiet, and keeps me cool at work. I have the usb plugged into a outlet charger, and it works great. Unfortunately, the packaging it can in was awful and my fan came a little bent. It doesn't bug me enough to return it. Over all, good little fan.UPDATE:The company reached out and offered to send me a new fan. Great customer service! Unfortunately, the new fan they sent doesn't work so I'm still using the dented one. I did however, really appreciate the effort in sending me a new one.

I bought this fan for the size and the USB plug in option. I really like it, it fits well on my home desk and has good working capability.The one down side is the noise, it does make noise. You can hear it when everything around is silent, but the noise is like white noise. No other mechanical sound from the fan.It is small and portable so I can plug it in anywhere. The only other downside is that the speed is very high. I understand that a fan this small might prevent it from having options other than ON/OFF, but I would have liked it a bit better.Worth buying for you desk, it will keep you cool for sure. I have been using it for about 3-4 hours everyday and I am happy with it.

I spent some time looking for a small desk top fan for a very specific purpose. I go walking for 20 minutes daily during my break and when I get back to my office, I am usually warm and want to cool down but I don't want to blow all my desk papers around. I had this exact style fan but where it plugs into an outlet and it was just the right amount of air, however, the cord wouldn't reach from the plug to my desk so I couldn't angle the air to reach my face and upper torso. When I saw this fan which is powered by USB, I figured it would work perfectly since I have a USB multi port charger right on my desk. I was correct! This worked absolutely perfectly. It's small so I can find a spot for it right on my desk and the cord easily reaches the charger. The amount of air was sufficient to cool me off in about 5 minutes. I never would have thought about buying a USB fan but this is just perfect for my needs.

Delighted with my personal Fan. Now nobody in the office needs to be bothered about how I'm dealing with my hot flushes!

This fan is not only "cute", it's also functional! So convenient to have a USB to connect to your computer/laptop rather than heaving to struggle with the power cord to a receptacle-IF you can find one where you need it (which rarely ever happens, right?!?).I love the idea that the fan is also adjustable (up/down) and is super quiet...unless you feel the breeze, you don't know it's on. I would recommend this product in a heart beat!

Great for the office. I got the copper one, and I’ve gotten lots of compliments — people think it’s vintage! It only has one setting and it oscillate, but you can change the direction of the airflow by moving the fan upwards or downwards. I don’t find it loud. Would recommend for anyone who gets overheated when they first get in the office and/or likes a breeze and some white noise while they work!
