As mentioned in my original review (below), this was a great bargain. I started to order another one today (9/22/2013) and found the price had gone from $42 to $62. No longer a good deal. You can buy less expensive ones that do the same job.Original review: I've had an in-ground pool for over 10 years and have purchased a number of filters from various sources. I worried that this filter might not be good quality because the price was significantly below that of others I had purchased. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a top quality filter - so good that I decided to buy another one while they're still available.

This is an outstanding product much better than the original that was as in the pool prior to my purchase. I was pleased with the speed of delivery and a high quality of the product. I will be buying this pool filter for as long as I own this home. In the past I have paid more than double for pool filters at local pool supply stores and the quality of their product does not compete or exceed this product for the higher price. I would encourage anyone considering purchase of a pool filter to buy this pool filter with complete confidence

I have had the Aqua Kleen Pool Filter for just over a month. I bought it for my Pentair cc100 filter. The price was about a third less than the brand name you get at the local pool stores. The filter fits perfectly and cleans well. We have cleaned the filter about 5 times already and it is holding up great. We clean out own pool. I would buy again.

The one pictured shows orange and has words written on the straps, the one we received is blue with not writing ... Just would like to know if we received a substitute or the proper one?

You will save some money with this but the number of pleats is far fewer than I'm accustomed to and the filter does not do a great job of actually filtering out dirt. I plan on spending more and getting a better filter on my next purchase.

This saved me double-&-a-half the cost of a retail name-brand filter. It works wonderfully & fits properly! Why spend more when you don't have to? All the debris is caught in this filter & it doesn't know the difference! A smart buy & my next go-to site for a replacement when the time calls for it. Don't buy the "name-brand" line.... this is a safe bet!

Great deal and is not a cheap Internet order product. Good quality and stands up to many cleanings. This was a repeat order because we were pleased at the 1st two. Well made.

Orderd this filter for replacement old old...of course. Received it quickly and it is good quality. Actually this would be our second purchase of this same filter. Satisfied customer.
