Metabo HPTBattery (2-Pack) and Charger Combo Kit, 18V - 3.0Ah Lithium Ion Batteries, Rapid Charger w/USB Port (UC18YSL3SM)

Replaced all my batteries and the charger. Seems to be okay as to battery life, charging, and use with my Hitachi tools.

I purchased a Metabo sub-compact drill/driver set a few months ago that included two 1.5 Ah batteries and a charger. I use them quite frequently just about every day but, the included charger takes forever to charge so I was looking locally at a big blue home improvement retailer for additional batteries when I found this deal at a significantly lower price point.The charger it comes with will charge a drained battery in approximately 30 minutes versus several hours using the one that came with the drill/driver combo and, the batteries are 2 Ah, so you get more run time as well. Over the last few years, I’ve been replacing my older cordless and corded tools with Metabo because they offer a quality product at a very reasonable price, and I couldn’t be happier with them.

Bought these for my dads Hitachi drills. Perfect for and work great so far. We’re only 4 months in, but never wait for a charged battery.Also, the charger that came with these batteries has a USB port to charge as well. That’s pretty handy to be honest. I plugged a wireless charger in and now I just leave my phone in that spot. I do kind of miss having to search for my phone, but my wife appreciates how fast I can wrap up time in the shop now that I don’t have to search. :)

I have about 4 of these chargers - this one has a light that gives you a visual on where the batteries are at for charging which is nice but it only works half the time? One day it works fine and the next it has no power and is useless. I checked outlet for power with another tool, works just fine. These kind of 'came with' the batteries so I'm not too disappointed but quality seems really iffy.

This charger charges these 3ah Metabo Batteries in 20 min. We run two of the cordless Metabo framing nailers on our sites and never have to wait for a battery to charge. With cycling 3 batteries between 2 guns we are so impressed that we don't have to purchase more batteries.
