Best batteries
On my second one. These are so lightweight, feels like a toy, but dont get me wrong, when u install on ur bike, the cranking power is amazing. Pricer than a acid battery but better if u dont ride ur bike daily and want to shred some pounds.

Best battery for Motorcycles
My second time using this battery. First time I had my bike in storage and forgot to leave it on a charger. Battery died after a few years. At the same time, I installed one in a friend's bike and it's still working well 6 years later. The cranking is amazing and starts up fast. It lasts longer than standard "YUSUA" batteries when equipped with LoJack. Battery is lightweight and the different mounting points are a plus.It also comes with A LOT of foam inserts to fill up the empty spaces.Using it in a 07 R6, 09 ZX6-R and 09 R1

Battery stopped working after 1 year
I installed this battery on my R6 in June 2023, and it was working fine until one week ago. When I geared up and was ready to ride, it stopped working and couldn’t even light up the dashboard. For a lithium battery sold at a premium price, think twice before placing the order.

Top quality, been burned by the cheaper ones
Spend the slightly extra few dollars; nothing worse than being stranded by a crummy battery. Don’t be cheap, it’s worth it

My experience with the Shorai battery
The experience with the motorcycle battery in my Aprilia Futura-1000:Life before the Shorai battery: After every dormant riding season, my lead-acid gel battery might run down, beyond repair. Over the years, I had tried every trickle charger or charging solution out there, hoping for the best. Would the engine start? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.Life with the Shorai battery: WOW! Instant cranking power. Instant start. And a noticeably perkier ride, as a bonus!Way easier to install. The separate battery charging port is elegant, does not interfere with battery accessories such as an electric warming vest.My only quibbles:• I can't ascertain if the battery charging port is water-proof when safety-plugged, thought it certainly looks as if at least water-resistant. Water-proof capability doesn't matter in a motorcycle application such as mine, but my son uses a BS-12 lead-acid battery to power his power-hungry sonar equipment in his kayak, so overall water-proof is important in some applications.• For deep-cycle applications, e.g., kayak sonar, you might want to get the larger capacity version of this battery. Thus, for really deep cycle applications, consider the LFX19A4-BS12 instead of this seller's LFX14A4-BS12. But that's a special case. The larger capacity (and slightly heavier and larger form factor) is rarely necessary for motorcycle applications, because your motorcycle continuously charges the battery when the engine is turning.• This battery is physically smaller than my BS-12. In my case, the smaller form factor is a blessing. No more nicked fingers trying to coax the battery into an impossibly small holder.=== Bottom line: Am super impressed! Why did I wait so long to google "lithium motorcycle battery" ?

Now onto the bad part. The terminal adapters on my cabling did ...
I went from a recommendation from another site that this would fit my 2004 CBR 600RR. It does fit where my OEM battery sat, but I had to use just a few of the included "self adhesive" foam backers to get it snug. Now onto the bad part. The terminal adapters on my cabling did not fit the terminal post. With a little modification I was able to make them adapt. In the future I will have the correct adapters installed on my cabling. As far as the battery goes its very light, requires very little maintenance and fires up my bike quickly. If you ride just a few times a month, it should be enough to hold your charge needed without having to put it on a charger. I wont even comment on the price because a excellent motorcycle battery is going to cost you over $100.00. That's the world we live in. You get what you pay for.
