Three hundred and Thirty Three Twisted Tongue Twisters: A wacky twist on the modern tongue twister

Not for kids. Has words like sex and pimp...and with Kindle's "Wordwise" the definitions. I stopped reading there. I bought this to read with my sixth grade class. This book came up as recommended while searching for Tongue Twisters for Kids. There's a kid on the cover with his tongue twisters. Everything indicates that it's for kids. But just as my class and I were reading..shocker! The author inserts words that are not suitable for kids. Buyer beware. I could've gotten fired for this. Amazon should really flag this book.

Been eyeballing this one for a while but me being me I thought it would be like every other tongue twister book you find on Amazon. The covers of the booksare all kind of the same (a kid with tongue sticking out) and they ALL claim to have the BEST tongue twisters. Yea, whatever I've bought things on TV before that always seem to work just long enough for you not to be able to get your $$ back. SO Still wasn't sold.But by some strange coincidence in conversation, I found out that my co-worker actually bought the paperback when it first came out over a year ago. She said she loved it and the interesting part to me was that she bought it for herself! Apparently, she and her husband like to use the game option at the end of the book as a fun drinking game.Shipping these days suck because of COVID so I decided to go for the Kindle instead. So to make a long story long these are some of the craziest tongue twisters I have ever seen anywhere. I have no idea how in the world the creator of this book thought to even put some of these words together. Me & my kids were laughing like a bunch of hyenas at most of them. But admittedly one of the reviewers made me nervous being that I got the ebook, so I made sure to read over the book before I shared it with them.Even though the wordwise function is great, it also gives very DETAILED definitions of many of the words. I don't know if the author gets to pick which words get "wordwised" or not but they seemed to pick the ones that will raise your eyebrows for a second. But you can limit how much of the words are defined or turn them off altogether so really no biggie. The book is not graphic in any shape or form and kids over ten years old is probably a fair age range I'd say. But I did count a little less than about 25 tongue twisters that us adults would get a kick out of more.If anything I think the absurdity of them is what makes them funny and kind of difficult at the same time. Finally, I like how there are tons of words that are not often used in everyday conversation. Being that I like to write a lot I'm always looking to expand my vocabulary. So I kept my Webster's dictionary app on standby as we had a blast of a night.

I am in sales, I do client relations for a major supplier of retail goods. You may think, why do I need tongue twisters? Well, the truth is, the majority of my job is talking and if you sound like a blubbering idiot, clients lose faith in you- and ultimately your product. My colleague and I found this book online and we use it almost every morning. Sometimes we just go back and forth before we have to call clients, sometimes we just chant our favorite tongue twisters to get warmed up. The book has so many, you can change them depending on your mood, or the day! An unintended benefit is that my four year old also likes to practice with me! It's really cool because he is really learning how to speak on the most basic level. It helps him with his pronunciation and his confidence! I'd recommend this book for anyone who speaks at their jobs!!

Byron L. Reeder created a thrilling tongue twisters’ book. I really liked it! Also, have you seen this awesome cover?I recommend Three hundred & Thirty-Three Twisted Tongue Twisters as it is a great book to have fun and also to challenge your friends to see if they can win these tongue twisters. I had my hard time with it, but I ended up laughing so much that my belly hurt. Reeder did a wonderful job collecting all these crazy expressions.To me this book is a must for this summer. This is such a fun and interesting book. It is particularly helpful to improve enunciation skills in a new way. Shared this book with my grandchildren and while having a fun time, they also discovered new words with enthusiasm. Purchased an extra book for my grandchildren to take home so that they can continue the fun, the reading, practice enunciations, and word discovery all at the same time .This book definitely helps to build confidence for people, who stumble over words, to systematically improve. What is so special about this book is that it is useful and fun for all ages.

I came across ‘333 Twisted Tongue Twisters’ by Byron L. Reeder among other recommended books of the type but ultimately chose this one because it seemed a little different. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. There are so many quirky yet challenging tongue twisters in this book that we're not going to run out of them anytime soon. It has been another great source of entertainment for the family during this lockdown period. Never thought of using these as a game either, but now we can't pick up the book without doing at least 3 rounds. Moreover, the bizarre combination of words makes repeating them fast super tricky but it does help with improving pronunciation while also enhancing your vocabulary.

I've always had a slight lisp, so it's a little hard for me to pronounce some words. I bought this book two days ago, and I already see improvement in my pronunciation. I really love this book because it categorizes phrases alphabetically, so it's easier to focus on the letters that give you the most problems. Reading challenging Tongue twisters is a really great pass time activity and it loosens your mouth and tongue muscles. It's also extremely fun to play with friends. Tongue twisters can get boring really fast; however, this book has 333, that means it would take a while before you get bored. If you know someone in theatrics or the person has a lisp. This would make a great gift!

Liked how many tongue twisters you get for a good price. I have been using this book to help me pronounce words clearly.

I had some of my family coming to visit recently and we needed something to pass the time and that was entertaining, this was perfect as we all tried the different tong Twisters, it was incredibly funny and such a good laugh. I would definitely recommend this for family's, you wont be disappointed at all.

O livro deve ser indicado para estudantes avançados, porque o livro parece ser usado por nativos da língua inglesa americana para melhorar a pronuncia. Mas se fornecer os mp3's (333 mp3's) o livro pode ate ficar mais caro, mas será mais útil para o estudo. Obrigado.
