The button worked well for me to record. I found that it’s better to speak more softly while recording, it distorts less. I wanted my cat to learn to push the button so it would say, “Food!”Sadly, my cat has learned that I, not the plastic button, dispense the food. He has bypassed the valuable lesson I attempted to teach him. 😂

This little thing works well enough. It did not come with batteries which is OK because I always have a stockpile. However after numerous attempts it is impossible to end the sound capture without hearing an awful clicking noise of the button releasing to end the recording. So if you’re recording something loud, no problem… But if you’re recording something that needs gradual quiet ending, you will be disappointed. Overall… Not terrible for the price.

I purchased this talking button to use in my office. There's a co-worker that has been here for 27 years and every day someone asks me a question to which I reply, "Let's ask Betty!" Betty and I used it today and are having fun with it. The play back voice is a bit muffled but for the most part, it's loud and sounds good. You can change the message any time you like and it's easy to do.

if recording from a speaker , back off some , don't be too close as the playback will annoy you

Super simple to set up and record. Not Bose studio sound quality, but definitely does what I wanted it for- to play a sound at a loud-ish volume when you press the button. Easy!

I love this. Ordered it to train my dog to push. Sounds is great. Very happy. Even arrived earlier then expected

I bought this button for my dog to tell me when she wants to go "Outside". It's loud enough to be heard clearly across the house and is plenty big for my pup's paws. However, because it's meant to be used throughout the day, I leave the button switched to "PLAY". In just a few short months, the 2x AAA batteries totally drained, which is totally unreasonable. Wish I had known before purchasing, and I'd have found a smarter product.

Works the way it's intended to. I got this to record my old bosses voice giving me s**t before his last day in the office so I can hear his condescendingly kind words even after he's gone.
