These transom tie down straps secure my boat to the trailer perfectly. The quality is outstanding and they're definitely strong enough. I tow my boat regularly 10 miles down a logging road to my favorite fishing hole. The transom straps I purchased from that 'big bass store' come loose way to often and sometimes I find one of them hanging from the transom hook and not connected to the trailer. The WavesRx straps have a clasp on the top hook to ensure they stay with the boat! Nice design and quality. After a few trips to my favorite fishing lake the straps have performed as described! I'll update after a few more trips to the lake.

Works well to secure transom. I like the fact that the hooks on both ends are coated and top hook has a lock on it. I’ve lost a strap in the past so the lock should prevent that from happening again.The buckle has a protective pad so my boat won’t get scratched accidentally. Excess strap can be folded and secured under the Velcro strips, or can be cut down to preferred length (which I ended up doing since my 19’ boat doesn’t require a long strap). Excellent price compared to online boating websites or outdoor stores. The 3 year warranty is a plus too.

Awesome quality and value for the money. Works great with my pontoon. Had to move it this weekend from our local marina to our lake house, about 300 miles north and did not have to re-tighten them at all during the 6 hour journey (which wasn't the case with the old ratchet straps I've been using). Will be getting another set to have as a spare.If safety is important to you, definitely invest in a nice set of transom tie down straps.

Bought these to replace my old cargo straps that were starting to show some wear and tear. Glad that I did, as these work so much better. They are easy to latch and release - the strap can be tightened or released within a couple of seconds. No more pumping the ratchet or pinched fingers :)I also like the little Velcro tie that keeps the excess strap from dangling. Definitely recommended and for the price, you can’t go wrong.

Using them on a seadoo gti they are perfect so far! Nice looking. Dont know how long they will last but they seem strong enough. Did not slip at all and my friend drives pretty fast n the roads are rough lol. Easy to use n perfect length!!!

Like the way the boat can be secured to the trailer quickly and easily. These straps were well designed and work perfectly on my 2003 Bayliner 205BR.

Transom tiedowns for an 18 foot aluminum fishing skiff. The straps have to partially wrap around the transom, and buckle has a sturdy backing pad that protects the boat from the back side of the buckle. I like the snap retainers on both hooks. Even if the straps are not properly tightened, the hooks will not come off. The detent that holds the buckle closed looks kind of light-duty; it works, but I don't know how long it will be before wear reduces its effectiveness. However, there are strong Velcro straps that can be closed around the buckle for insurance. I like the soft plastic coating on the buckle handle. All in all, a good product, well worth the modest extra cost.
