Update: 3/16/21 - One of the two I had stopped connecting to the wifi. You could still download the data over Bluetooth if you were close but the app wasn't auto updating and so I wasn't getting the alarms. I contacted the company through their in-app customer service and they were very quick to respond and sent a rapid replacement. Very happy with their customer service! Would highly recommend buying their products just on that alone!!! I'll also add, setting them up is a breeze too, so that's nice.Had it for a few weeks, works well so far. I use two in different locations around the house and think they are reading pretty accurately. I love the app features and that I can set different alarm setpoint for each one I have and get notifications on my phone. It's also cool to watch graphs change in real time to track effects after I change a fan speeds or switch on a humidifier. The only thing that would be nice to have would be a lighted back screen at night so you can read it when it's dark, but you can always just read it through your phone too, or ask alexa what it's reading so that's a plus. I'll probably order another if they go on sale again since they are a bit pricey.

I have never written a product review but felt the customer service provided was excellent. I bought the Govee wi-fi temperature sensor 10 months ago to monitor the indoor temperature in our vacation home. It was easy to setup and and worked quite well during the winter. About a month ago the wi-fi stopped working. I went through all the troubleshooting FAQs but it still did not work. I contacted Govee and after a few attempts to fix the issue over email, they decided to just send me a new sensor. It is good to see that they stand by their products. I will be ordering their water sensors next.

I put this in the engine room of my boat so that as winter came I could monitor the temps to make sure things didn't freeze. I connected to the wifi on my boat so I could monitor remotely. Overall it worked really well. The range isn't great, but it was good enough. I didn't care whether it was perfectly accurate or not. The graphs were really interesting. The only thing I couldn't figure out how to do was to set up a temp limit and have it send a notification if the temp reached that limit. maybe it doesn't have that functionality. Overall very happy.

I love smart devices and while they may sap my internet, they make my life easier as I have ADD/ADHD, lol. I'm using these with my two ball pythons as the name brand digitals I used for years just finally weren't accurate anymore and needed to be replaced. While those had probes so they didn't take up any room, these are still small enough with only a little footprint.I love the fact I can set notifications for humidity and temp parameters..This helps more for humidity since my heat sources are already on thermostats. But if for some reason the thermostats fail, this will be a back up alert to know if my temps are too high and dangerous. These work to check on your settings whether you're at home or away since they connect via WIFI and not just Bluetooth. If you only need notifications while at home or within the Bluetooth range, then you can save money with those. But I wanted something for when I was not at home as well.Maybe pricier than just Bluetooth or non-smart gauges but worth the peace of mind for the safety and comfort of my pets.

I already have 6 Bluetooth Govee all around the house and in my terrariums. Wanted to try out the Wifi version for when I’m not at home. These are very easy to set up. The temperature between my 4 sensors are within 0.5F and 2% humidity, which is pretty impressive. You can set the ranges on each one so it can alert you on your phone when the parameters get out of the range. It’s pretty much instant. They alerted me as soon as I take them out of their terrariums to take a picture in this review because my kitchen is pretty dry.After using them for a month, 3 out of 5 units have lost Wifi connection with 2 of them losing the Wifi connection daily. When the Wifi is lost, the app doesn’t reconnect automatically. It asks you to reenter the Wifi password even though the password was already saved. The app will still alert you via Bluetooth when the parameters fall out of the range you set if you’re at home. However, if you’re away from home, you’re out of luck. I have contacted Govee via the app. They sent a replacement, which was also broken. They recommended that I move the units closer to the Wifi router. LOL I have Google Nest Mesh with 3 extenders all around the house. These Govees are in terrariums 10 feet away from the main router. Plus, my whole house is a smart home with over 40 Philips Hue lights and sensors. Also got 10 Alexa and Echo along with various smart outlets. No other Wifi appliances have this issue. Something is either wrong with Govee’s hardware or software. The Bluetooth version works flawlessly. These Wifi ones also work fine via Bluetooth, but we didn’t pay extra for less functionality. I cannot recommend this for people who won’t be at home everyday and want to monitor the temps and humidity remotely.

The device we purchased worked great while we were with in range of our router/Wifi, however, we could not receive data while traveling. The support staff was extremely helpful; when we weren't able to resolve the problem, Govee immediately offer to send a replacement. Unfortunately the problem continued and the problem was probably incompatibility with our router. Govee immediately offered to refunded our money. I can not say enough about the support Govee offers. If we ever upgrade our router, I would definitely purchase this product
