No Complaints At All
As an experiment I've been using this model for the past 8 months instead of the GE FXHTC. I'ev been using the FXHTC for probably around 10 years. The FXHTC runs about $35 at Home Depot or Lowes and $31 on Amazon. The only major difference is this model does not filter out chlorine, but being on well water that's not an issue for us. I'm more interested in removing rust, mud, and similar elements.I am religious about replacing ours every two months & just installed the 4th one. This filter does the job very well, and for $15 I'm thrilled. It holds up fine between changes, it does not collapse or clog. I can't see any performance difference in water taste or clarity, or a decrease in water pressure change from the other GE FXHTC.Again, I replace ours every two months & the filter is still fairly clean. Its just my wife & I at home these days so its not filtering as much water as when the kids were all home.I highly recommend giving it a try. I think you'll be more then happy with the results and save a good chunk of change if using a more costly model.

great filter, doenst produce a flavor or taste like some filters.
Best thing about this filter is you cant taste the filter. Great price, well built and its the only filter I use on my water system. Two thumbs up

Good filter.
I have been using these cartridges in my whole-house filter for 6 years, changing them every 6 months. They perform very well. Home Depot no longer carries these, and was pleased to find them on Amazon. Thanks.

Came on time
The filter came on time, we replaced the old one, the water from the cistern is coming cleaner and no yellow stains any more. Very happy with the purchase.

Great tasting water!
We had some of the best tasting water in the world, straight from the aquifer....then they started chlorinating our water! I was dissapointed every time I took a sip, so I ordered the GE GXWH35F and this filter. The water is once again fantastic and I didn't notice any pressure drop at all....love it!!
