Ideal for bedside lamp
Neat and well-made lamp base, the brushed gold effect has an expensive appearance and having the on line switch makes it easy to use when needed. Teamed with a simple plain light beige shade, I used an led bulb 40 watt equivalent which gave enough brightness for reading in bed. The base is a decent weight and sturdy whilst not taking up too much space on my bedside unit. Good value.

Perfect height bedside lamp
Perfect lamp for my bedside as the height of the bulb is ideal for reading etc. & doesn't take up much room. Looks great & the on/off switch is not far to access. Quality lamp & I now have two so would definitely recommend.

Bulb part too big to fit standard UK lampshades
Altogether it looks nice and sturdy. Unfortunately the bulb part is so big none of the standard UK lampshades that I have at home fit over it (and yes, I’ve removed the cap). I’d send it back if didn’t cost like 1/3 of the item costs..
