Jeez, I've tried so many products to do this job. Maybe it is the thickness of this pencil that makes it work so well. It's maybe about 7mm wide instead of 2 or 3mm. It is truly invisible, and priced well. I have a friend who successfully uses chapstick for the same job, and she has more lip lines, and wears brighter lipstick than I do, but this product is well priced already, and does the job. I tend to purse my lips when I'm concentrating, and I'm always concentrating on something -- like this review -- hah!

This product works very well. I have used it all over my lips to keep the lip color in place all day and to keep my lips from feathering. I also used it right under my eyes and brushed eye-shadow over it because I was out of eyeliner and it did not cause any irritation to my sensitive eyes.

I do not even remember buying this product but if I did I hate it, I bought the clear one by mistake is what I think because I would NEVER buy a clear lip pencil for any reason :/ I thought it was just weird when it arrived. I am not even sure I can return this because I do not like it and do not want it. I will probably be trashing this out.

IF you have lines around your lips and find that your lipstick seeps into those lines, then this is the product you want. Apply it to your lips before you put your lipstick on and Lip Lock prevents your lipstick from bleeding into the lines around the lips... the product is well made and can be carried in your handbag or make up case with ease. I found that I only needed one application and that lasted all day. Great product for the price!

I am a senior and the problem with lipstick running is a problem. This product outs an invisible barrier around your lips and helps to keep the lipstick where you want it, on your lips

One star for review submission only. I haven’t tried the product yet, and most likely will not. Inside the envelope I received, the top of the product box was ripped completely off and the cap for the lip pencil is missing. Huh?!?!

I was looking for what I thought would be an easy to find product: a clear lip pencil that could be used to outline my lip line to keep my lipstick from bleeding. Some of the higher end cosmetic lines had creams for this purpose, but I thought a pencil would be easier to use for re-application, if necessary. A search turned up this pencil & at a bargain price. I have been unable to find it in my local stores that carry e.l.f. products, so I was very pleased to be able to purchase it via AmazonSmile. I order 2 or 3 at a time to make the shipping worthwhile. The product is completely colorless & matte, & requires only a quick smoothing with a fingertip before applying my colored lip pencil to my lip line. I find that a single application seems to last all day. I'm very pleased with the product & would recommend it to anyone looking to eliminate those pesky lipstick bleeds.
