Sub-Zero Car Air Conditioner Synthetic R134A Refrigerant, AC Recharge Kit, 12 Oz, 347

My 18 year old fridge wasn't cooling as well anymore, so I bought this and topped it off. Fridge is running like new again, very cold.

It worked fine.. it did what I need it to do! it got Cold when I needed it to be cold

I recently converted my 1992 Honda from R-12 to R-134a but a/c did not get as cool and since I still needed to top off the system I tried this product and now a/c is blowing as cold as it did with the old freon , it is truly a great product.

I topped off my a/c with this refrigerant as my system was a little low. I tested the vent temperature and the readings were NOT any different than using the standard R134a refrigerant. I was told by my mechanic, that if you wanted your vehicle to have colder air and have a more overall efficient a/c system, you would need a higher capacity compressor and condenser. I was told that these claims aren't true for the average vehicle, that by putting additives that are intended to improve the way an a/c system functions is pure bogus!

i live in phoenix so having the best refrigerant is critical; this stuff seemed to make about a 2% (say, one or two degrees cooler; increase in the ability of th AC to cool the car; by tightening the serpentine belt that drives the AC compressor, I achieved about a 15% increase in cooling ability;

Order this if you already have a fill gauge and hose for refill of AC system. Do not overfill. Get great cold air after refill. Should check for leaks prior to refill.

This product works as expected but for the next refill for my AC system, I would rather use the pure R-134A products. The "pure" refrigerant is more economical and more compatible to the existing system.
