I've tried two different solutions for the "aligning a light fixture" problem and this is the better one. Much sturdier than the "rotating arm" version.

This is the only universal fixture crossbar that I have found so far that allows you to put the fixture mounting screws at 90 degrees from the crossbar mounting screws. I just mounted an led long fluorescent fixture securely to my wife's craft room ceiling. I have also used it to mount bathroom vanity light fixtures.

2 of the fixtures I purchased them for didn't line up with any of the 4 ore drilled screw holes.

Exactly what I needed. I tried to change an old light fixture but there was no bracket to attach the new one to. This did the trick

I had to mount a couple light fixtures. This is a really versatile mounting bracket thanks to all the rings and holes.

Was hoping it was universal enough to handle an octagon concrete box. Couldn't get alignment on any of the holes, so not a great match. Maybe will work for some future application, but not this one.
