Good Playpen for Guinea Pig
Pen works good - very simple. We put a slightly larger dog pad in it and use it for the kids guinea pig to run around in for playtime. The pen is easy to fold up, wash, and move around. And it keeps the guinea pig contained!

well worth it for the price.
I have a mini Rex bunny that goes where I go, just like my dogs. So when I go away for the weekend and visit family this is his travel pen. I have a more permanent set up that is not travel friendly. For a small animal, this thing is pretty spacious. A few things to note:-I saw some reviews talking about how it’s too flimsy and easy for a bunny to chew through which is pretty obvious to me considering it’s selling point is that it’s portable and it folds. It’s obviously not the most durable material. But bunnies can chew through pretty much anything aside from metal so that is to be expected especially if your bunny is a heavy chewer. I’ve used this three times and the bunny is starting to wear holes in the bottom through digging but I put a blanket on it anyways so I’m not concerned.-mostly any small animal that it is mobile or active will be able to escape out of this if they want to so it is not meant to firmly keep animals secured, which should also be a given based on the height. My bunny absolutely escaped once or twice from this cage but he’s not a very adventurous dude and I expected him to be able to if he tried. His pen is predominantly for housing his litter box toys and food and water just so he knows where everything is located and for the most part he’s content staying around those items. But I would not use it to keep an animal secured especially unsupervised.-I have not successfully been able to fold this item back into the original pocket that it came into, as every time I’ve tried I’ve been worried about breaking the item. That being said, folding it up is easy and it’s very collapsible so I can fold it into a flat portable object which is good enough for me-I think water resistant is a bit of a stretch, mainly it’s quick drying and water does glide off of it but it can also easily get soaked with pee, a spilled water bowl etc.All in all this item was less than $15 and it serves it’s purpose so in my mind it’s a win. That being said I don’t think it’s some thing that you can rely on for a regular use or housing and I will probably have to throw it away and replace it with a new one within two or three more trips.

Nice to roam around, hamster can climb out
I like it to let my hamster roam around in more space with some toys. But beware as they can climb out and she was chewing the sides of the mesh so I don't think it would last very long. Just ensure to watch your pets playing and provide a lot of chew toys!

Beware of climbing hamster!
The media could not be loaded. If you want to enrich your hamster's life, I highly recommend getting them a playpen. Here is how I used this playpen to further tame my ham and give him some fun:I have a Campbell's dwarf hamster. He is pretty tame, likes being held, etc. I bought this playpen so I could give him a playground to play in outside of his (giant 60"x12") tank. I used to let him roam my room (I blocked off all doors and underside of my bed with thick foam board) but he zooms so fast sometimes it's hard to keep an eye on him and I like watching him.To start him off, I just wanted him to get used to the playpen and think of it as a safe space. He likes getting cuddles while he's in his tank, but not while he's out with me, so I was hoping the playpen would become a safe space for him and then I could get in it with him and bond with him more. I am a medium-sized adult female-5'7"- and I can sit with my legs crossed in the pen very comfortably, and he still has lots of room.I knew to make his playpen a safe space I should have some static fixtures in it. So I marked with a pen the outlines of his toys (seen in the picture) so I could always put most of them in the same place. Very quickly after I started doing that he got so used to the playpen he'd fall asleep in it and not wanna go home!I use the playpen to house him when I clean his house. However, lately, he has gotten so comfortable, he has figured out he enjoys CLIMBING THE SIDES OF THE PLAYPEN. (See video)Toast is too chicken to jump out unless I put my hand up for him to jump on, but I'm still worried he'll injure himself from freefalling like that. If you have a gutsy hamster, he may well jump out. So, when he gets to hyper now, I have to put him up, but I do like playing the climbing game with him where I let him climb out onto my hand and put him back in. Hamsters in the wild may climb but our little hamsters don't, so I guess it's an enjoyable little enrichment activity for him.Anyway, this is a super valuable tool for bonding with your small animal! I call it Toastland - it's his amusement park. It's also great for getting those big playsets that are too big to fit in his tank and trying them out.It is definitely waterproof, if he pees in it it just sits on top and can be wiped away, but the material does absorb the smell of the urine unless you use some kind of solvent. I wash this playpen with soap and water and leave it outside to dry maybe every 10 uses. I haven't once been able to fold it back into the small circle it came in, but it's fine for me to just fold it to the size of the sides.
