Helps when needing to improve voice quality for self taping

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box to the mic was its size. I was expecting it to be a bit smaller but it’s actually about the same size as the Rode VideoMicro. In fact it would be easy to mistake this mic for the VideoMicro not only in looks but performance as well. Currently it is anywhere from $10 - $20 cheaper depending on the current sale going on.In the box you will find 2 cables a regular trs cable to hook the mic directly into a camera or other such device as well as a trrs cable so you can plug into your smartphone. It comes with a plastic shock mount so you can avoid vibration noise from handling your camera. You also get a foam windscreen as well as a wind muff or dead cat. Actually the muff is a bit better quality than I have seen from other sub $70 mics. In the hole is a stiff ring making getting the muff on and off your mic a breeze. It is a nice attention to details there. Also included with this package is a smartphone mount and a rather nice little mini tripod that reminds me of the Manfrotto Pixi mini tripod.Just like the more expensive Rode VideoMicro there are no batteries needed for this mic. It is plug and play. For me I appreciate this as several times I have been recording video only to find out once I got home to check out the footage that I had forgotten to turn the power to the mic on. That won’t happen with this mic. The downside to no battery is that you will need to rely on the preamp of whatever you hook this mic into and some cameras do not have the cleanest preamp in particular older Canon cameras. I personally use Panasonic and Sony cameras that have much cleaner preamps so for me I like that there is no battery.So as far as audio quality goes this is a fine mic. When I compared side by side with mics like the Rode VideoMicro as the popular budget mic Takstar SGC-598 I was quite happy with how well this mic compared. In fact, I noticed a little more bass response from this mic compared to the other two.In the end this mic is a huge upgrade in sound quality over your camera or smartphone internal mic. At this price point this mic is an ideal choice and even out performs slightly more expensive mics in certain areas. This would be an ideal choice if you are into vlogging and you need an upgrade in your video’s sound quality. People will forgive if your video quality is sub standard. Bad audio will absolutely ruin a video and guarantee people will stop watching right away.So if you are looking for better quality audio for your videos and are on a tight budget I would gladly recommend this little mic.

I've used this for my VLOG for about 2 years now, and it has been in constant use. I've gotten $20 out of it and then some, but I don't understand why the swivel tightener is no longer working. It's always been loose-ish, but now it's almost unuseable. Even when I turn the screw to the tightest setting it is still loose. Well, for the cost I can't really complain, but when I get a new one I will probably get something that is a step up.

I've been using this kit for a weekly hybrid live/Zoom meeting for well over a year now, and have absolutely no complaints. It does the job perfectly every time.

I used to use small boxes and other things to prop my phone up while making videos. I am a vlogger, and although I haven't tried this setup out yet, everything is perfect. I have nothing to compare this with, so the mic looks like it will pack a punch. I actually didn't need one, because my voice booms anyway, but if I can edit this after using it, I'll add more about the quality of the sound. Unlike some people in these reviews, I bought it for the stand. Took a minute to figure out how to lock it to stand higher on my desk without the weight of the phone pushing the legs down.For what I spent on this, I think it was well worth waiting for this to ship to me from another country. Bravo!

The media could not be loaded.  Recording videos and having a crappy sound quality is not An option specially these days when there a lot of people recording great videos so I decided to start looking for a good microphone without breaking the bank and after doing research I found this guy which is a great option to upgrade the quality of your content.very good Sound quality, have a Windscreens very helpful if you like recording outdoors ,easy to assemble, very intuitive and it comes with a tripod and phone holder also two cables for cellphone and one for cameras with mic port keep in mind that if you have a phone with lightning port you will need an adapter that usually comes with your phone if not they are about ten bucks.Very good price if you are looking for a budget mic this is a good option.

My 13 year old loves this for playing online games and recording content for a youtube channel which he is starting with his friends. Though I have no issues with the sound quality its far from a pro mic that would feel heavier and have XLR connectors but no issue for typical Internet use. You really get a lot for your money in this kit.

This is a very nice setup for aspiring vloggers that want to use a phone as a main camera. The mini tripod and a narrow stance and a wide stance. The phone mount can rotate from landscape to portrait very easily and it has a mount for the external mic it comes with. The mic comes with 2 types of wind cover and 2 diffrent mic cables for a phone and a camera. Overall a good product that I can fully recommend to anyone!

i bought this reading all the great reviews. it was delivered on time. but just does not work. I stand just a metre away from it and record, but there is no enhancement to the audio at all. Waste of money

音質などは皆さんが書かれているとうりスマホ本体のみで録音するよりも遥かに高音質です。私はiPhone8で使用していますがiPhone の標準アプリで問題なく録画、録音できました。さて、困ったのは組み立てです。初めマイクスタンドをスマホホルダーに取り付けるのには、何かしらのネジが必要だと思っていたので苦労しました。ネジはついておりません。マイクの取り付けは写真のようにスマホホルダーの上部にある溝にマイクスタンドの下の方についている小さな板を挟んでするようです。この点は説明書に何も書いていなく、特に初心者には不親切かなと思ったので、星4つです。

超初心者でも組立ては問題なし。機械オンチですが普通に組み立てられました。音質ですが、、プツプツ音？が鳴ります。これは何ノイズと言うのでしょうか。常に鳴っている訳でもなさそうですが色々角度とか条件があるかもしれません。もしくは線の問題？しかし、やはり空間録りと比べると違います、室内の雑音が明らかに少ない。まだ1度しか使用していないので今後プツプツ音が解決するなら、この価格でこのセットなら大変満足です。あくまで初めて外付けマイクを購入した初心者の感想ですが。。

携帯を抑える部分とマイクをつなげるネジがありません。これは別途買うものなのでしょうか？せめて、この商品を購入する際「このネジの同時購入を勧めます」といった推薦商品の掲載があってしかるべき
