This is the best paint I have ever used. Glides on easily and doesn’t drip. I painted over a black patio set and one coat did the job. This paint goes a long way. Painted a large scroll top patio table and six large chairs and didn’t finish one can. Amazing.

My 15 year old vehicle was sitting outside on a sunny hot driveway in NM for the last ten years, and not surprisingly the paint faded, especially on the hood and roof. A professional paint job for the hood only was $1200 which is not worth it for a 15 year old truck used intermittently. Instead I used this glossy black Rustoleum paint which did a satisfactory job. It's not a mirror finish like the original and brush strokes are visible up close, but it's fine for my purpose. It's a very dark black and reasonably glossy, unlike the automotive spray on paint I used before.

I bought this paint for my bathroom door. It came out nice and glossy which I like. The only thing is the oil based paint has a very strong paint smell so make sure you ventilate well.

The paint is good, it is just me, I am sure. I have never used an enamel, oil based paint. I used it to paint our very old, rusty pool filter. My husband was supposed to build a cover for it, well 10 years later, still hasn't been built, so I decided to paint it. :) It turned out okay. Since painting outside and it was breezy, the paint was drying as I was painting and made a mess of things. Also, since it is oil based, be sure to get mineral oil or similar to remove any paint you get on yourself and for the brushes. You cannot use soap and water. I am sure the experienced knows this, but I did not. Also, get the right brush for the material you are painting on. I was painting on metal and the brush left brush marks. I have learned from this all. Note: I have ordered a new valve for the top, just hasn't arrived yet. :)

Went from a green set of powder coated wrought iron furniture to a very nice bronze color. Worked well with my airless sprayer and on top of Latex sprayed on primer.Takes a while to set up so give it 24 hours to harden up.

What more to say? Rust-Oleum has a well deserved reputation for high quality paints, especially for metals. This is only the third time I've painted my Bilcoo cellar doors outside, in over 30 years. It's a long lasting quality paint that protects your exterior metals jobs from rust and corrosion. Highly recommended.

I put 2 coats on my old picnic table. It looks great. It's very shiny and rain stands up on it like it does on a freshly waxed car. It went on smoothly and the brushes cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend for outside wood.

My packages went to two different towns before it actually arrived at my destination, the box was all damaged on the outside, and when I opened the package, the cans were all dented.

Looks like it could be sprayed right out of the can. Excellent adhesion to bare metal and great finish when dried 24 hrs
