Fantastic daybed! Great quality especially for price
This bed is beautiful. It is a really nice product. It was easy to assemble although it is time consuming. Here is a tip. With the slats, do not try to save time and attach all the black plastic inserts first. You must insert one black insert on the end, put the slat in, and then pop the middle black plastic insert in. If you want to shortcut it then you can insert the black plastic inserts all one end and then put the slats in and then pop the middle insert in to connect the slat. Those things are difficult to remove and you will end up breaking them if you insert them in the end bracket and the middle at the same time. Guess who mucked that up and learned the hard way.ProsFantastic quality (except cheap plastic inserts)Great priceBeautifulEasy to assembleComfortableConsTakes forever to put the slats on bedThe plastic inserts are cheaply made

Impressed with quality and price!
After a ton of research trying to find a great solution for our guest room we decided to purchase this daybed/trundle. For the price, I expected IKEA style/quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the look and overall quality of design and construction. Fabric was a more tailored look and feel than I thought it would be from the photos. The feet are a blond wood which I plan to paint for my personal preferred style.Assembly was super easy! I can't imagine why people had any struggles. All parts and pieces were clearly labeled and the directions were clear and easy to follow. I am 8 months pregnant and I put it together alone without any struggle. I was impressed by the sturdy construction and the slat design. Better value all around than I expected after reading reviews. I am so glad I made this purchase.A couple of notes according to the manual:daybed weight limit = 400 lbTrundle weight limit = 225 lbMattress size for daybed: 74"-75" (L) x 37 1/2" - 38 1/2"(w) x whatever height desired.Mattress size for trundle: 74"-75" (L) x 37 1/2" - 38 1/2"(w) x 7" max (H)I had read a few different heights for the trundle mattress and I am so glad I waited to measure for myself before purchasing a mattress for the trundle. 7" would be the Max and I suspect you would not be able to put bedding on the mattress and still be able to slide it under the daybed. If you want to keep bedding on the trundle I would go for a 6" mattress to allow enough space to slide it in and out.

Good buy: Will it stand up to time and use?
We bought this(Blue) in March but only just assembled it. At the time of delivery we needed two people to carry this upstairs. The colour is definitely darker than expected. I thought it will be a lighter shade of navy, but what we got was a greenish/blackish blue. It still looks good, and putting it together was fairly simple.Pro: Looks great and is compact; size is perfect for a home office where sometimes lying down to deal with stress is helpful. I originally bought this daybed after a lot of research as I didn't want sharp corners in the front- In case I tripped, I didn't want a hard spot readily there to hit my head.Con: Darker shade, the slats look unfinished, and when tightening the screws I saw the metal under warp a little.Trundle and Daybed ship separately. Will update the review after regular usage for a year.Recommendation: Buy this after checking out other models, and be wary about the slats. Overall a good buy for a fully upholstered daybed at the price.

Beautiful, sturdy and very affordable for great quality!
First, it's lovely! It has a tailored, tidy appearance. The material feels substantial. My rambunctious 5 kids, aged 2 to 10 years, have all crawled, jumped, played all over it. I've no concern the bed's construction or it's upholstery will wear out or come apart any time soon.Second, I put it together with the 'help' of my five children. It only took me 2.5 hours and we were going slowly/methodically as I was teaching them to read the instructions, lay out the parts and pieces in an orderly way, and use the screwdriver or the Allen wrench that was provided. I am very pleased with how sturdy this is. My 4 four very active, young girls will all be sleeping on this very night. All of us have piled on top of the bed when it was done and it held us all with no problem whatsoever.I read some poor reviews of this product. I suspect they are not the norm. This is very much worth your money and time to assemble. I would buy this all over again!! Forgive the dark photos. They don't capture this well. We're all delighted! One note - I think the tallest mattress for the trundle is 7 inches. We accidentally purchased a 10 inch mattress without any consideration for what would fit on the trundle under the bed. We'll be buying a 6 inch mattress soon. I hope to be able to leave the blanket on when storing the trundle under the bed.

Squeaks!
When we first got the bed I loved it. I love the look of the bed however, after my small 11 year old has slept on it for a couple of months it squeaks so bad that she says it wakes her up. We have tightened up every screw there is and it gets better for a couple of days and then gets worse. Wish I could send the bed back.Do not buy!

Fantastic twin for all ages
This is a perfect bad for our nursery. We were a little nervous with bringing the baby into our room for the first few months due to my husband’s work schedule. So, we found a twin size bed that would not only look nice in the room but also be functional for years to come. We will utilize the bottom trundle area for extra storage. I suppose someday we could definitely put a bed under there but for now it makes sense just to keep baby stuff out-of-the-way.Assembly was pretty straightforward, there are quite a few pieces to put together but it is a very sturdy bed, not just the typical child's twin. I chose a nice plush mattress with a 3 inch topper and have slept on it perfectly. My 230 pound husband has also hopped on with our 75 pound boxer (and pregnant me) LOL. We were definitely over the weight limit, but nothing snapped or broke (Whew!) - gotta pass the full-family test right? Haha
