Introduction to Geographic Information Systems

This book was relatively easy to comprehend, and the technical aspects of the book were very informative, provided a great sense of direction, and altogether, this was a very good book for a beginning GIS student, or even an advanced GIS specialist.

The book is well-written with excellent examples and terminology. The exercises are practical and easy to follow. Excellent format for a textbook. Fast shipping.

My copy came 2-hole drilled instead of 3.

Received the book in almost new condition. The corners were slightly rounded and it had minimal signs of wear. Exactly what I had expected from a used book, but high quality nonetheless. Mine even had sticky notes with the previous owners notes on it so that was a killer Easter egg!

Great textbook. But I purchased the E-textbook and it doesn’t include the data to do the exercises in the book. I reached out to Amazon and they don’t know anything about it. So waiting to hear back from the publisher. Will update.Update: heard back from the publisher. Turns out if you want to do the exercises you have to have the instructor resources.So basically the description says it provides the data and that’s just a blatant lie.

for the premium price (>100) the delivery was very disappointing:- book had no colour- no binding, so only pile of paper with 2 big holes which where unlogical and unusableI had to go to a professional book binder to make the pile of paper a bit usable.So uncredible disappointing and blunt to offer this in this manner for such a premium pricelFor now (Feb 2020) there seems to be no alternative (no online version fi).
