uxcell Reduced Shank Drill Bit 28mm High Speed Steel HSS 4241 with 1/2 Inch Straight Shank

I needed to drill a larger hole into a simple stack of soft fender washers to mount six fuel shut off valves for a project. Can't even drill one hole into one washer! The bit just grinds away. I tack welded six ordinary washers to a piece of steel to hold them into place for drilling. Then I would have ground the welds off to separate them. The fender washer holes were 1/4". I drilled them out with two larger bits first incrementally increasing the hole size. When the last size with this drill bit was used the bit just got chewed up. Sent it back.

I'm going to have to give this drill a ZERO stars rating. Worst drill I've ever put in a drill chuck. The drill it self is bent about 1/64 th of an in. At the shank in the chuck it runs true at the tip it runs out about .03 tir. Luckily I was only dreaming out a hole in 3/4 ply. I was able to get the job done but this drill is total junk. DON'T WASTE YOUR CASH!!!!

The 30mm drill bit (silver) I received was poorly milled; flute edges were rough and not honed, and the cutting edges were simply not sharp, as if this bit was pulled off the fabrication line too early. I don't blame the reseller, UCELL, since they're just a liquidator of the miscellaneous China-sourced detritus.I returned this lousy bit, and ordered the http://amzn.com/B07MJ8TH4Z (also resold by UCELL) with low expectations but a modicum of hope that it'll at least function as a drill bit.

this drill bit sucks. It got dull in 2 seconds flat and all i was trying to do is bore out a 25mm hole to a 26mm. The old adage is true, you get what you pay for.
