Mastering AutoCAD 2014 and AutoCAD LT 2014: Autodesk Official Press 1st Edition

My research found this manual is used by several Universities. It is essential for anyone who wants to learn AutoCad. It really covers the waterfront. It's OK to take notes, you will spend some time jumping back and forth to tie every thing together. "practice makes perfect" and be assured when you have everything down pat, they will come out with an improved version. However knowing the basics will make learning the changes easier.

The author certainly knows how to make technical information interesting. I have read other AutoCAD books, but this one is by far my favorite. Although I have just started with the book, I find it an extremely helpful and interesting read. If you are learning 2014, it is an awesome resource. The combination of keyboard and menu commands will have everyone learning faster ways to complete drawing tasks. Highly recommended!

I bought this way back in 2014. It served me well back then, but it's way out of date now.

Great book to have on the shelf. I find myself flipping through this to refresh myself on features I don't use frequently. I wouldn't use this to learn AutoCAD though. There are other books out there that are geared more to get you started. I feel this more for somebody that at least has some experience with the program.Also a decent book to study up on certification test.

I would like to have included a DVD or CD that gave the exercise drawings used in the book. The web site referred to had different examples that did not respond to the exercise described in the book. The book exercises are clear but it would be helpful if I could manipulate the drawing per the exercise.

Great help in working with AutoCAD2014. Was using a book from the library, but after checking it out twice, decided I had better purchase my own. Only thing that would have been better with this is that, if I had checked the "free shipping" search item on the left of the search box, I could have saved several dollars. Oh well.......next time.

The book came in perfectly on time, in great condition, suprisingly ligth in weight as for such a thick volume. ANDIT'S a GREAT BOOK, You know the way you put out posters on your wall from your favourite movie or music band, there should also be posters of great book authors like George Omura :). Hugely recommend this book

This book is fantastic. It not only informs you about all of the features of the most complex software package that you'll ever buy, but does so in a logical manner. I've gotten through 5 chapters and really feel confident in my abilities so far.Thank you very much for this book!
