Q: Does this work for Mac?

I have OS X 10.11.4 (El Capitan). It does work. It took awhile for me to figure out what the pairing prompt was instructing me to do, but here it is: When you pair and you see a six-digit number, enter that on your bluetooth keyboard and PRESS ENTER. So, even though the product description does not show that OS X is supported, I got it to work with my Macbook Air (11-inch, Early 2014).Same deal with mobile devices: You have to press the ENTER/RETURN key after entering the six-digit pair code.

Q: Does this keyboard have the function keys F1 through F12?

Q: How hard is it to reach the keys that are separated by the large gap (touch typing)?

The gap between the left and right hand groups of keys is not a problem for me because I do not reach over the gap with either hand. Proper touch typing should not require one to reach over the gap.

Q: Does the keyboard lock in an open position? If I put the keyboard on my lap will it fold and fall between my thighs? Thanks!

It does not lock and would not be a good lap keyboard.
